Ha, that's very true. And I guess it is a 100% leyline deck... what else should I expect?

Play some casual at 20 and see how you like it. I think it's more of a personal preference but unless I'm using landfall I try to stick to 20 lands and rarely ever go above 24, assuming I'm running right at 60 cards.

Dang, 3 cheap pieces and it's working by turn 3. Fast and powerful, with plenty of things to add to it to make it damage your opponent. Really nice.

I've never tried making a legacy legal deck, but things like Runeflare Trap and the like. Something like this deck o' mine: http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=93848

So how do you win? A really slow mill?

Are you picking a side? Perilous Myr is problematic if you are, right?

Pariah is a lot cheaper than Pariah's Shield if you wanted to go white as well.

Agreed, Bloodthrone Vampire is perfect for this deck. I'd say drop 6 lands and throw in two more blood Tribute as well. That kicked with Sanguine Bond in play wins the game.

The control is more to hold things over until I get the golems out. Perhaps I should opt for Cancel or the like instead.
And good call on Twisted Image, that is indeed better.

I do like the ability to drop infect on unblocked golems (and blocked ones for that matter) but yeah, red could be great with this deck.

Rite of Replication could be powerful but I think a Precursor Golem deck should win before you need to use that. Drop that and you can get rid of blue completely, helping the land base even out. And green naturally ramps, so you could look at Birds of Paradise and other stuff to help get the golems out earlier.

Not bad. Here's my version: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=102242

It makes use of Glint Hawk and Kor Skyfisher to reuse Ornithopters/Memnites for the quest. Squadron Hawk can help with that as well.

Terramorphic Expanse? There's no landfall or anything, so that's a huge waste. It can't fetch the Bog as that is non-basic.
There's some artifact creature, something Adder I believe, that costs one then gets infect until end of turn for {B}. That could be a good low cost early creature. I'm tired or I'd look more at the spells, but I'd probably drop one each of Ichorclaw Myr, Psychic Miasma, and Doom Blade to add those Adders.

You could do with mana ramp: Birds of Paradise, Harrow, Cultivate, Explore, etc.
Also, I believe it's Spawnsire of Ulamog that lets you cast any number of Eldrazu from outside the game (your sideboard). You could just sub out all the big Eldrazi fro him, throw in the mana ramp, and call it a game.
Myr Galvanizer and Palladium Myr/other mana producing myr could do that well. And there's some red card (an instant I believe) that lets you copy a creature and it has haste, which lets you do the myr infinite mana a little faster. I forget what it's called.

Hope that helped, I'm sure others have better advice than myself, but that's a start.

It's a pretty good combo, but not quite as fast as you think. Still, like the deck.

Yeah, but that's overdone. This is a little different, not great, sure, but different.

This is just the sort of thing that Venser's first ability or other exile and return things are perfect for. Great combo, something different.
