I like it!I have a couple of thoughts: In my scion deck variant (which is below) I run [[Blood Celebrant]] and 2 [[Vivid Marsh]] to cover the possibility of stealing something with [[Scion of Darkness]] with an activated ability or extra cost that requires colored mana.I also run 2 [[Reanimate]] as an alternate way to play Scion for cheap. If you cycle him you can then play him for one from the graveyard. Losing the 8 life isn't awesome but having the alternate option for getting him into play can be key. (I also run a few Vampire's Bites to provide some limited big one-hit life gain to help offset that.) It might mess with your budget somewhat but it is worth thinking about. Here's mine for comparison/inspiration:https://www.mtgvault.com/basilicanero/decks/one-mana-series-black/Enjoy your deck!

I know it's purely cosmetic but if you put "[[m11]] Giant Growth" in the add card field it adds the Giant Growth with the bear picture on it.
For your convenience: [[llanowar reborn]]
Other than [[Outpost Siege]] that's the red line-up I run in my [[Norin the Wary]] deck. It's a red/white Tremor/Soul Sisters deck that tries to make the best possible use of Norin:https://www.mtgvault.com/basilicanero/decks/blink/I think the use of [[Genesis Chamber]] in conjunction with [[Suture Priest]] is particularly sneaky.
True true! Also, if looking for more one drops to slide the mana curve down: [[Glitterfang]] from Kamigawa is like an notquite as good [[Lightning Berserker]] from before Dash was a thing.
Because of all your triggers from creatures entering the battlefield [[Norin the Wary]] might be a fun addition.
[[Sapseep Forest]]? Just a thought.
No [[Sylvan Awakening]]? The reach, indestructible, & haste is tough to deal with especially as it lasts until your next turn instead of just 'end of turn'.Just a thought!
As would I!
One of the heavy hitting decks in our group in high school was an elf deck. It was based on [[Wellwisher]], [[Epic Struggle]], and [[Wirewood Hivemaster]] if I recall correctly. Wellwisher got a lot of hate as I remember...
Why, thanks! Always have had a soft spot for the old school tribal decks. (Soldiers, Merfolk, Elves, Beasts, etc...)
Thank you! I started by searching everything with 'Krosa' in the name then filled i from there. I was really hoping when we went back to Dominaria we'd get something cool and new from Krosa again but all we got was [[Krosan Druid]].Pity.
I use [[Leechridden Swamp]] (either 2 or 4) in any deck I can that benefits from having Swamps specifically. Highly recommend! And the link is [[card name with no typos]]. You might need to hit refresh after you hit post for the links to activate and I believe it only works in comments not deck descriptions, etc.Ex. [[Korlash, Heir to Blackblade]] Not sure why [[Wayfarer's Bauble]] doesn't work though.
Also could be worth throwing at least one [[Oboro, Palace in the Clouds]] in for an Island. A one-off can't hurt but as it can pay for it's own ability and return itself to your hand it combos well with [[Hedron Crab]] so you always have a land card to play mid to late game. Might not win you the game by itself but every bit helps with mill.
Ha yeah I know. I wanted one of everything so I was trying to make that work but it felt like just shoving it in there.I'll add Sylvok Lifestaff to the side board, how about that?
Love it.You might consider a Diabolic Intent over Diabolic Tutor. Seems to fit the deck well, it's a cheaper CMC, and there is either a vintage printing from Planechase or a modern one from Battlebond depending on which you like the aesthetic of in the deck.
I wonder if commune with the gods or something similar would help at all with consistency. It could snag melira or Alpha authority. Just a thought.Love the infinite life/burn/tokens(nearly)/+1/+1 counters/opponent sac combos, btw!
Ashes of the Fallen, to replace Dralnu's Crusade maybe?Ashes of the Fallen {2} Artifact - As Ashes of the Fallen comes into play, choose a creature type. Each creature card in your graveyard has the chosen creature type in addition to its other types.Th only other one I saw that has the same effect to make Apocalypse work is:Conspiracy {3}{B}{B} Enchantment - As Conspiracy comes into play, choose a creature type. Creatures you control and creature cards in your graveyard, hand, and library are of the chosen type.Ashes is definitely superior in this circumstance I feel.Good luck with your deck!
Just at a quick glance it looks like Zombie Apocalypse and Ghoulcaller's Chant (for bringing back the 2) would rely on Dralnu's Crusade making the Goblins in your graveyard Zombie's too. Unfortunately I think it doesn't work like that:04/10/2004 This only affects Goblins which are on the battlefield. Ones in your graveyard, library, etc. are not changed to be black or to be Zombies. - http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?multiverseid=26840Sorry. :/ Not sure what would work as an alternative either off the top of my head.
Perhaps Reassembling Skeleton (or some other cheap reanimator) would combo better with the sacrificing mechanic over Black Cat in the 2 drop slot.I like it though; very much seems to capitalize on Yahenni.Enjoy your deck!
