i am debating switching burn at the stake in for voracious dragon because it has the ability to do some much more damage without the need to sacrifice all my goblins... but i just cant get over the perfect flavor of voracious dragon. i mean if not this deck then what deck does he belong in amiright?

i like youe ideas but im going to break this down for you dragon style.

OUT:
hoard smelter(unless you ar playing against an artifact heavy deck not super useful
kargan dragon lord (not a dragon and thus wont get helped by or help out any dragon tribal cards
molten steel dragon (just not the best dragon in the word there ar better additions trust me)
mutagenic growth (not needed again just trust me)
kilnmouth (too expensive for not enough gain. great in concept but by the time youll actually be able to play him you wont have any dragon in hand
1 copy of dragon speaker shaman 3 is more than enough
1-2 furnace whelps
IN:
another scourge of valkas
2-3 ring of valkas ( these are great for either giving haste and getting in a killing blow or for pumping up your slumbering dragon)
2-3 arch wing dragon (these are great for activating scourge of valkas turn after turn)
2-3 crucible of fire (+3/+3) to all your dragons!!
2-3 seething song (for a turn three scourge of valkas)
1-2 utvarahelkite (combos of scourge of valkas like nobodies business)

i have http://www.mtgvault.com/endgamer31/decks/dragons/ this deck in real life and it smashes almost anything thrown at it ( it has only really been beat so far by a mill deck and a super aggro krenko deck with a really lucky hand)

coat of arms would do nothing..... 80% of the creatures last only one turn
door of destinies might work though

warstorm surge is much to expensive a cmc for this deck

NICE ELEMENTAL DECK
though as others have said i would consider fling to get rid of pesy creatures or even blasphemous act (as most of your only last a turn

yeah having (effectily) 8 llanowar elves might be a bit over kill might go for only 3 of each and then 2 woodland changelings

since 90% of your creatures already have trample you might consider

rather than overrun since they both cost the same but the first forces your opponent to block (hopefully killing some of his creatures)
and the second has the chance to pump them all up +4/+4 depending on what you have out

you might try some cards with Changeling just to get out another few "aurochs"

would be a good 2 drop even if you only have 2-3 (IMO better than having an omenreader)

What about 2 warleaders helix? Maybe instead of intimidation bolt. There is also a flying hobgoblin that is hybrid red white... Might be good to have like 2 cards be flying ....also the RW hybrid enchantment is super over powered can't quite remember its name

so i check and your right but its pretty stupid if you ask me.
a birds of paradise if fine be cause it makes "any color" but druid of the anima is not because it is more restrictive?? stupid rule is stupid. if druid was made to say any color but U and B... it would be fine.
same goes for hybrid cards. MaRo is even on file as saying that hybrid should be allowed in EDH becasue the cards is supposed to be equally both colors not part each color

lol honestly im not sure! my group hasnt really started playing EDH yet but im thinking of trying to get us into it.

as for mana ramp i have 12 cards that can either tap to give me mana or let me search for land when they enter the battlefield... you dont think thats enough?

ill look into a few different ways to deal with creature/ artifacts/ enchantments. i know there are a few creatures that destroy artifacts/ enchantments/ fight when they come into play.

ill also try to include some equipment that can guard my commander.

the issue with alot of your suggestions is that they arent creatures. im trying to keep my number of non creatures as low as possible since every time i cast one while my commander is out he does 6 damage to me... so basically i need to find cards that fufill all my problem areas AND are also creatures.
the reason i didnt go with any planes walkers is most of them that would work really well are really expensive to buy :D
