Cool deck and those are some interesting cards. I do love Mindcrank and Mercurial Chemister, but they're a bit too expensive to not be a Dragon, since they won't set off any of the Dragon tribal triggers. Same with Psychosis Crawler. I may make a new deck with those cards though. I'll need a lot more card draw to make things like Jace's Erasure and Venser's Journal useful in this deck. Thanks for the ideas though, maybe I'll make a new deck with all those cards and less of a Dragon theme!

Hey, this is a brilliant idea. I think I'm going to try making a version of this that utilizes Cipher a bit more and focus on the infinite attacks and getting bonuses from the next attack phase. Thanks for the inspiration!

Thanks a lot for the comment and your input! I'll think about what draw cards I can use to really synergize with this deck, and maybe focus a bit less on Door of Destinies.

Door of Destinies would be great because of Archwing Dragon though. You can keep casting it turn after turn and make your dragons stronger every turn! Take out a couple of Geistflames for Door, and maybe fill it in with another low cost burn spell and I think this deck would be stronger for it, even with the higher curve.

There's a lot of comments, so this may have been said already but maybe instead of shocks you could add Dynacharge? Even if you're not getting one of your Nivix Cyclops which I've seen be a problem with decks like this (I made one myself), you could use Dynacharge, Armed and Teleportal on Goblin Electromancer or Guttersnipe to make them a 6/2 double striker.

If you had Guttersnipe out, you would deal 2 damage for each of those spells, so plus the 12 damage from attacking your opponent would have to take 18 damage that turn. If you hold out for enough mana to play Negate as well, you deal the full 20. That way it'd be a bit less reliant on Nivix Cyclops. Just a thought. Blistercoil Weird would be a decent 1-drop too. If you played those 3 spells on it, it'd be an 8/4 double-striker dealing 16 damage a turn (+1 from Armed, 1 from Teleportal, 1 from each spell as per Blistercoil Weird's ability and +2 from Dynacharge).

With the speed of this deck, I would recommend taking out the Essence Scatters and get 2 more Negates or Dispels. You're probably more worried about counters and removals on your creatures than your opponent casting a creature themselves. You just need 1 or 2 good hits.

In terms of control lately, I really love Silence and Render Silent. Especially Render Silent. For WUU, you can counter a spell and make them just unable to cast anything else for the rest of the turn. I find these cards really allow you to play what you want without the chance of someone messing up your plans, or just to keep them locked down on their turn.

Hey, your theme for the deck is one of my favorites (I've been working on a couple decks like this too). I agree with QwertyPop that focusing on a few key elements and getting a couple more copies of the cards you're running will raise your consistency at FNM.

Since the theme of your deck is really Sanguine Bond, I recommend adding more if you can (a full set of 4), and definitely 1 or 2 more Diabolic Tutors to search for them (or anything else you might want for that matter). Trimming some enchantments like Holy Mantle, Ethereal Armor, Dark Prophecy and Divine Favor for those would help, I think.

While you could keep the Bubbling Cauldron and Festering Newt combo because it follows the theme (gain life while your opponent loses life), I do think you should probably take out the Bogbrew Witches. They're not that great on their own for 4 mana, and you don't want to spend too much mana searching when you could be playing better cards that follow your theme. Even if they don't drain life, your 2 Desecrator Demons in the sideboard are way better. They're powerful, and can end games. And take out the Vizkopa Guildmages for more Tithe Drinkers. More low-cost creatures with extort will allow you to trigger extort more often. 2-4 more of Basilica Bat or Kingpin's Pet would help extortion too.

Hm... just noticed that in the current meta I come up against a lot of humans so I think Pacifism is more solid than Bonds of Faith. Just because I'd only be powering up my opponent's creatures...

Thanks for the ideas! I had Ascended Lawmages originally but I wanted each creature to have some sort of control in some way (like tapping and exiling), so I took them out, and Lyev Skyknights detain on the turn when they come out, but next turn when it's attacking the creature could still block. I like the Master of Diversions because it removes a potential blocker each turn, but I'll try both to see which works better. Cloudfin Raptor is nice, I'll probably add some. Council removed. I personally really love what Martial Law's been doing for me in this deck though, so I'll keep them around. Also I find a lot of Rakdos, Boros and Jund aggro lately, so I think I'll keep Blind Obedience. Detention Spheres are nice but I don't have any, so I'll see if I pick some up before I add them here. Thanks again.

Great ideas, I'll make room for Syncopates and Judge's Familiar, and try to find some cheaper spells.

Thanks for your comment! I'll defininitely look for some Render Silents now. And Bonds of Faith is a great idea too, I think I'll throw some in my actual deck for awhile, but I'll have to take it out of the deck once they rotate. Sphinx's Revelation is great too, but they're a bit pricey, so I'll keep them on sideboard.

Hi Guys, I'm working on an Azorius Control deck and a W/B Angel Token deck and I could definitely use some help on improving them, but any comments are welcome. Thanks in advance!

Hey guys, I just made a new standard deck that I'm working on. It's focused around Gravecrawler and Burning Vengeance and I'm looking to make it better. Your opinions and feedback would be much appreciated, so please check it out.

I love Mind Funeral, I definitely agree with this suggestion.

If you end up running Mind Funeral, a couple more suggestions might be Bojuka Bog (a swamp that exiles your opponent's gravyard when it enters the battlefield) and Haunting Echoes (exile all the cards in your opponent's graveyard other than basic lands and then search their library for all of the same cards and exile those too!) You'll need mill to actually make these cards more effective, but they're awesome if you do.

Maybe Hellkite Charger instead of Shivan Dragon? Combined with Utvara Hellkite, you'd get a second attack phase, potentially doubling your 6/6 dragon production. You could use the ability sooner with Infernal Plunge.

Maybe you might want Krenko's Command instead of Goblin Rally too. It's half the goblins, but also for half the cost. It's pretty much another Dragon Fodder. But then you can get goblins faster and summon your Voracious Dragon on the same turn that you would be able to pay for Goblin Rally. Goblin Rally does give you more though, so it's your choice.

Cool choices. Blood Artist is a cheaper Falkenrath Noble, and Gravecrawler is nice here. Soulcage Fiend too. Mine was running more off of sacrificing tokens (which weren't humans) which is why I left out Wakedancer and Falkenrath Aristocrat, but they're more effective here. I think I'll have to re-tool mine a bit.

Hi everybody, I made a couple of new decks. Come check them out and give me your suggestions if you'd like.

Standard:

And then I have a Modern version of that Sacrifice deck which I think works way better:

I was looking through the comments, and if you're still looking for token generators maybe try some Eldrazi cards like Nest Invader, Kozilek's Predator and Awakening Zone for early tokens that you can sacrifice for mana? With Doubling Season, you'd get 4 Eldrazi Spawn from a Kozilek's Predator, and 2 Spawn with Awakening Zone every turn. I always thought that Eldrazi Spawn were be great for rushing out Devour creatures like Mycoloth because you could use some for mana ramping and some for devouring.

This deck looks like it would work pretty well. Looking at all your burn, I would be tempted to add Guttersnipes, but they don't really fit in with the demonic theme your deck has. In terms of working with Skirsdag, I think that you have enough creature removal to make sure that he works consistently. The mana curve is quite low too, so it should be quite good.
