Thanks Jessie! I'm glad you didn't get rid of the Goblin Guides. They're 20 bucks now heheheheh!

Wow thanks for all of the suggestions. I'll definitely have to consider searing blood as well as searing blaze since it'll do 1 extra damage to the creature. Eidolon huh? Sounds risky, but I can see how it would hurt them faster...

Thanks for the tips! Yeah, I realized 4 of vexing devils isn't that good after you mentioned about their life total. And you're right. Young pyromancer would be great at pumping out free elementals. Shoot. Now I wonder if I should combo the pyromancer with purphorous. hmmmm....

Me again =P

My brain hurts. Too much thinking and too many decisions, so I thought I'd make a no-brainer deck:

nonstop burn. As always, if you got any advice, I'd appreciate it =)
Thanks!

Hey thanks! Yes, Engineered Explosives and Void would hurt me quite a bit. That's why I have artifact removal in the sideboard.

Heheheh. Okay, I'll be sure to crisp it up. I wonder how you like your steak. Burnt to a crisp or bloody as hell...

So what do you guys think? Sorry if it's a little pricey, but this is the one of the few times that shock and fetch lands DON'T cost more than the nonland cards ha! Against all of the metas I've been seeing at channel fireball modern tournaments, I figured this can outrace most of them. Advice is greatly appreciated! =)

I don't play a lot of burn. You can see from my profile that I have zero red decks. But I really like this one. +1!
I see nothing in the side board though. I would suggest sideboarding in some blood moons. Possibly some land destruction (Boom//Bust, goblin ruin blaster, molten rain, ) or artifact removal (ancient grudge, batterhorn, echoing ruin, fissure vent, flamespeaker's will, fury charm) or both (demolish). just some suggestions. great deck! ;-)

I still see lots of decks being pumped out. A lot more commander decks - I wonder if it's because of the new commander planeswalker releases. In any case, I figure they just made it harder to get on the hot deck list. It's not a problem though heheheh.

I could have sworn it was:
They're pinky and the brain, yes pinky and the brain
one is a genius, the other's insane
they're laboratory mice, they're genes have been spliced,
they're dinky, they're pinky and the brain brain brain brain.........

I forgot the rest. The only other lyric I remember is when they changed the show to include Elmyra from tiny toons;
The situation's changed, for pinky and the brain,...........and the rest I forgot...much like every other episode with elmyra in it.

Nice commander deck. I really like the commander. I like hexproof in commanders since everyone freaks out whenever a commander enters the field. +1!

I know narfnarf is a user, but I wonder why they chose that name. A reference to pinky and the brain? Or an acronym for Nuclear Attack Readiness Formation...

Thanks! I saw your comment on the esper version of this. Yeah, that version was getting destroyed at channel fireball modern tournaments. I feel this is much more consistent. Sure, not as much card draw without the charm and treasure cruise, but it has so much more removal. ;)

Haha. It's cool man. Maybe cause it's not budget haha. To be honest, the most popular metas I see at channel fireball modern tournaments are UR Delver, pod, splinter twin, zoo, scapeshift, artifact affinity, etc. I'm trying to home-brew a well-rounded deck to defeat as many of the common metas as possible. Thanks for the encouragement though! ;-)

Thanks for liking! Yeah, the sideboard isn't really set up yet. I was initially thinking that if I need more card draw, I can put in more serum visions. But as long as I have Eternal Witness, I can Aether Vial it into play, grab a serum visions from the graveyard, and then play it a second time. =)

Thanks Northy. I guess my mind was in the gutter when I thought of this being a control and bounce deck. ^_^"

mtgvault is a great place for budget decks, so I hated to up the cost of the deck with AEther Vials, Finks, and Shackles, but I think they would improve the deck a great deal more.

Thanks for your advice! heheh. Yes, something DOES seem off, as it seems thragtusk (or the other weak creatures) are my only win-con. I plan to proxy this deck and see how it does. Yeah, I was debating whether or not to put rancor in the mainboard. Even if I have to discard it from my hand, I can always just get it back with the witness. You're right, Progenitor Mimic could be deadly! Maybe I can run 1 of them.

Hey Sorin. Been a while. Hate to advertise, so I am writing on one of your lesser-known decks (otherwise it might spawn haters in your more famous decks). Wondering if you could check this out:

As always, keep those decks coming! That emrakul one is nuts! =)

Hey Jessie. Been a while. Sorry to bother you again, so I chose one of your lesser- known decks to advertise:

Just wondering if you had any advice or opinions. Your "best $20 deck on the vault" (cephalid constable) deck was the inspiration for 2 of my decks, the most recent being the one I listed. Keep up the good work with your decks. I like the new EDH ones you put up recently because I noticed you mostly make normal 60s decks. Thanks again man! ;-)
