Thanks for the tips! Yeah, noble hierarchs and tarmogoyfs would buff the deck up with even bigger beat down creatures. Once I win the lottery I'll add those ;-)

Heheh. Yeah, I thought about siege rhino, as with wilt-leaf liege, but the 4 cmc is what gets me since sun titan and collected company won't hit it. I agree, auriok champion would wreck twin and burn (well, any life gain heheh). I'll have to think about your suggestions =)

Nice deck. A little concerned about the lack of 1-drops though. Maybe some Elvish Mystics? I would suggest Birds of paradise, but I know it's a budget deck. =)

Haha! Very true. I suppose there are only a few remnants of hatebears left. A few creatures and tec edges. It's looking more like an abzan aggro deck. Maybe I should call it abzan aggro pod. =P Thanks for the comment!

Hey Northy, I wasn't sure if you got a chance to look at the Dragons of Tarkir spoilers yet, but there's possibly some good warriors to add when they are released. Blood-chin Fanatic, but I really like Arashin Foremost and to a lesser extent, Aven Sunstriker. How can anyone not like double strike =)

It's also an instant or sorcery spell, not a creature spell. Nor ETB effects...

Hello again. I saw this deck before the fate reforged release and was waiting until you updated it ha. Since it sort of revolves around Soulfire Grand Master, how about some cheaper sorceries such as lava spike? Only 1 mana, plus it can help buff your swiftspear. Of course, that's only if you want to go in that direction. If so, I'd also up the bolts to 4 from 3. Another solid deck that you make me want to proxy ha! +1!

I also liked your previous standard warriors deck. Similar to the other one, this is an orzhov aggro deck, and I might consider replacing dragonscale general with aven skirmisher (flying) or mardu shadowspear for earlier pressure/faster aggro. Just my 2 cents. +1!

I got a deck that abuses Torpor Orb for you:

Not budget, but if you take out the Phyrexian Dreadnoughts, the deck will be half of the cost. Just replace them with 4 Demonlord of Ashmouth...but hard to go wrong with a 1-mana 12/12 trample.....

Does it HAVE to be budget? =(
Because Earthcraft + Squirrel Nest gives you an infinite combo right there...
Think of the result. Infinite squirrels, infinite teeth, infinite bites...

There are some crazy warriors coming out in Fate Reforged:

I noticed how aggro this deck is, so much early pressure. I think some of the 1-drops could put even more pressure (aven skirmisher and mardu shadowspear). I would really like to see how you format this tribal warrior deck with the new cards ;-)

Heheheh. 2-3 inquisitions = 1 pact of negation in terms of $$$. But yeah. Good enough...better make sure you win though hahahah. unless you want to splash blue for dimir...

Nice. Very nice. What about putting in some Urborgs? That way, you can tap fetchlands as swamps and if you smallpox, you can get rid of those fetchlands instead of the others. Once I saw smallpox, I immediately thought of Flagstones of Trokair, but you're not running white. =\
I love the looks on my opponents' faces when I smallpox, discard and/or sacrifice bloodghast, sacrifice Flagstones, bring out a Godless Shrine, which is a land trigger, returning my recently discarded/sacrificed bloodghast hee hee! It's almost like I lost NOTHING from smallpox. ;-)

Been a long time since I posted on this deck heheheh. How about some duress so you can remove their threats? Of course I would suggest inquisition of kozilek, but I figure you probably want to keep this budget...

Popularity contest huh? Well, I admit I got 2 decks on the hot page once, but no one really suggested any changes or tweaks or anything. And if a deck is hot and a lot of people like it, it already sort of suggests it doesn't need any more fine tuning. Hmmm. A catch-22 situation...

It's okay that it made it to the hot page. I think the main reason people put decks on here is so that they can get advice. So if it's on the hot page, you'll end up getting lots of tips and help ;-)

Thanks for the tip! Yeah, Satyr Firedancer would really wipe their creatures away. Too bad you and Jessie can only have 2 hot decks at a time. But it's so funny that you EACH have 1 60 and 1 EDH LOL

Whoops! I totally missed that! You get to gain one of theirs. Nevermind. Legerdemain is good in that sense since you can take their wall or something.
Yes, I hate how remand is so expensive. I just like cards that "replace" themselves, like augur of bolas, or wall of omens (of course, you're not playing white).
The mana curve appears to be high at first glance, but you're slowing them down so you can build up your mana base. I was going to suggest high tide, but I think that really should only be for mono-blue decks.

+1! I might consider switching the Legerdemain for Donate since it's 3 cmc instead of 4.
I see you can slow them down with cyclonic rift (hopefully overloaded!), so that's good, as you are digging for your answers with Impulse. You might want to think about adding Augur of Bolas. Not only does he help dig for your sorceries and instants, he pretty much becomes a blocker, giving you more time to draw the right cards.
I have to agree with Kazzong on the counterspell. I might replace them with boomerang or remand. Yes, counterspell completely removes the threat, but, 1) boomerang slows them down even more, as they need to wait a turn to attack for summoning sickness (of course, if they don't have haste) and you bounce it back right when they attack. 2) remand is in between counterspell and boomerage, but replaces itself by allowing you to draw another card. After typing this out loud, I'd have to go with remand, because again, ideally you want to dig and draw your combo cards.
This deck really catches them with their pants down heheheh.
