Honestly unless you're partial to the card I would just take out the elixir of immortality for it. yea its nice for the 5 life and shuffle it back into your library, but i think axebane will be more important to it

yea he cost 1 more, but for mana of any color you can't beat that =p You have 4 of axebane guardian and 4 overgrown battlements then your defender deck will resemble elf decks haha

It's like priest of titania and wirewood channeler = Overgrown Battlement and Axebane guardian haha

I like this deck, I have a red vampire deck too, although mine is not standard legal, could I suggest dropping the markov warlords and searing spears for 1 more rakish heir and 3 arc trail =p
In my opinion, running 4 rakish heirs in a red vampire deck is completely necessary

Nice deck though.

Although so far this deck has been very very effective in a one on one match =]

Well I haven't play tested out this version of the deck yet. So i might see how this does and put some consideration into the changes you put up, undying evil so far has proven devastating in this deck so having 4 might be a good move, havent seen the potential on bone splinters yet, gotta play with them in the deck, tho I assume it'll be a good card for it

What do you think now? I'm thinking if I want to have 3 undying evil, and maybe dropping a morbid plunder for it.... but idk because Morbid plunder is key in this deck to bring my creatures back

Your deck is very interesting, I see alot of combo potential in alot of cards so it doesnt look like you only have to go one direction to win. I'm sure If i looked a little harder I could see it, but where is the infinite burn combo in it, how do you do it?

P.s. always a fan of storm cards, grapeshot is one of my favorites....

I also( going with your alternative creature idea) was thinking about demon of deaths gate. Seems like it might be a good idea. Sac 3 creatures and 6 life and i have a 9/9 flying trample, in this deck it'd be more like deal 6+ damage to an opponent or creatures and sac 6 life for a 9/9 haha

It's not a bad idea, but i don't think I'll put it in. Most creatures I have on the battlefield I dont expect to be alive very long... Thunder thrash elder and my sacrifice vampires will be on the field the longest and I still plan on flinging them at some point haha.... Although it's not out of the question, I can always throw it in for a few games to see how it does

hmmmmm, You know, I might just drop the geralfs messengers, because you are very right about the playability of him in this deck. I hardly ever see him on the field when i use this deck, i think I'll both of him and 2 vampire aristocrat and add 4 goblin arsonists

Btw, I'm not sure if I want to do it yet... But do you think Lignify would be a better add than prey upon?

Cause yes prey upon would (most likely) kill the creature I want removed and it only cost 1 to play. But lignify can get past indestructible creatures and I don't risk killing my own creature in the process...

What do you think?
Tough decision on my part...

I wouldnt mind adding one, but I dont own one at the moment, havent decided what i'd take out and how many of him id want to have if i did, not sure if i would add him or not yet tho, the real question is if I will spend the money to buy him. It's a good possibility tho if i get ahold of one =p

Thanks for the opinion and suggestion!
