whoops and hightide isnt modern legal haha

no problem, and counterspell is the only thing here that shouldnt be modern legal, other good choices instead of counterspell, mana leak, dissipate, runesnag, spell pierce, condescend... Those are all modern legal =p
If you have the cards this is what I recommend:Look into:CounterspellEchoing truthGuard gomazoaGomazoaClaustrophobiaInvisible StalkerHigh TideBeguiler of willsGuileAny of these are worth looking into, and none of them are very expensive to buy =] These would improve what you have here, and the guile and beguiler of wills will give you a little better offense to help your teammate. Blue is slow so hightide is nice, other than that the counters and returns will keep the enemy at bay and the cheap creatures will keep anything coming at you at bay til you can over come.If you dont mind spending a lil money, Isochron Scepter is horribly mean in blue decks.
Sure, that's cool, I'll check it out
Jace is still much more powerful tho, especially with his mana cost at 4. Not to mention jace is 140 dollars, karn is 30 haha
Now that is a completely understandable reason, haha its the main reason i dont run quite a few things people suggest to me on here
Karn is in my deck as an insurance policy and he's expensive to play in most decks, but 7 mana is pretty cheap for mine haha
especially verse a mono green elf deck, i waste a turn to play that and they take all the advantage for their turn. Mono green elf decks are scary, lots of infinite mana combos, so last thing i wana do is give them a little extra fuel in the first few turns
you gotta look out for Karn, in a stalemate, he'll end it by starting it over with the advantage on my side haha. With decks like this all it is is a race, mad dash for the mana ramp and blow up, usually all done in the first couple of turns. Turn 3 thru 5 is when every turn needs to be feared.
The only reason I wanna keep my land enchants is, most people hate on elves as soon as they hit the field, my enchant lands give me the necessary mana ramp even if i face a creature hate deck, and their effectiveness with arbor elf is unmatched. I honestly tried verdant bloom once, it wasnt as effective as I thought it would be, and to make matters worse, when i faced a green deck it helped them too much, and i hate helping my opponent haha
haha its a standard dragon, therefore no one wants to get rid of them and everyone buys em up at cards shops. I bet they are hard to come across
skirimishers are pretty cool, you can give your creatures abilities on your opponents combat phase too so thats really nice. And hey once you have the mana ramp, it's all about what you do with it, and you can go so many different ways, trying to immediately take a win doesnt always work (tho it usually does, but not always), so why not make it impossible for the opponent to win instead haha all the while giving yourself an almost unstoppable offense. =p
I thought about adding more priests of titania, but honestly, arbor elf does the most ramping for me in here. Tough decisions, not to mention then id have to BUY more priests and thats always upsetting haha
Understandable, they truly are annoying if you dont get them off the field quickly
haha naw, ideas sprung from my decks I take as compliments. My deck focuses heavily genesis wave and primal surge, your deck uses genesis wave moderately and focuses more on dropping the creatures yourself, even if you did copy me it's cool =p I don't own rights to how decks are built, and you gave me a shout out anyhow that I inspired ya. Nice touch tho with greater auramancy and luminarch ascension. Haha I couldnt tell ya many ways to improve my angel elf deck, other than I need 3 more temple gardens. This deck wins or assures a win within the first 5 turns 90 percent of the time, If i hit turn 5 and dont look like im about to win then that was a bad game. I prefer to take the win turn 3 and 4 =p
Nice take on it =] Arbor elf with elvish guidance is so much mana in elf decks haha That always super charges my genesis wave in my angel elf deck
Fun! Keep the field clear til your dragons come eh? Even tho this hurts you too, but I've always been a fan of magmaquakes chaotic brother, Earthquake!
You can also try out energy tap haha that card is fun in artifact decks
If you make one, send me the link, your friends will hate facing that deck ha
I love using the angel deck, turn 3 I can genesis wave for over 10 easily, I've turn 3 genesis waved for 10-12 on several games
