Sooo, I was wondering about this, does the new legend rule now pretty much ruin dragonstorm decks that use kokusho? Is bogarden hellkite now the way to go with probably karrthus?

Yea but you can only run so hard til your hand runs outs, and when that happens you'll be at a standstill, griselbrand will at least replenish your hand

this might be true, but if you remove the wall for maybe more ulamogs it might be more useful =p if not then its a good build as is
How about summoning trap?
Gatecreeper vine needs to be in your main deck, he's one of the most valuable cards you will have in a mazes end deck. You can even run progenitor mimic in there just for gatecreeper vine to grab a new gate every turn
drop geosurge and run either pyretic ritual or desperate ritual in it's place.
Chandra's spitfire or kiln fiend would be a good add, also it looks like you'd run thru your hand very quickly, maybe try running a few reforge the soul to bring your hand back and continue burning
You'd also have to replace the artifact lands if you wanted it to be modern, modern banned all the artifact lands that produce a color
Run 4 fabricates, tinker is fun and all, but taking that out will make this legal in both legacy and modern instead of only vintage
throw in crab umbra to put on axebane guardian and you'll have infinite mana (if you control 4 defenders)I run kozilek, the butcher of truth in my defender deck and he works perfectly, maybe try him out.
darksteel forge, platinum emperion, platinum angel, steel overseer, pallidium myr, arcbound worker, arcbound stinger, cranial plating... all things to look into for what you have here already

how about replacing experiment one with gyre sage? He has evolve so he's be the same as experiment one but he'll get the ball rolling quicker with the mana so you can drop out craterfoot behemoth as soon as possible =p

yea, it will keep your combo going even if you hit a wall and dont have any more creatures in your hand and you're not at 20 yet in your graveyard
Doesnt win with mortal combat, but thought it'd be fun to mention immortal servitude and exsanguinate would be fun with this deck setup. Draw all your 0 drops with skullclamp, bring them all back with immortal servitude sac them all with ashnods alter and cast exsanguinate for huge life lose and gain. Chances are you'll have disciple of the vault out for that extra life lose with it =p
