Look into the Life and Limb/Timber Protector combo, all your Saprolings are Forests and the Timber Protector makes them indestructible

For some reason I seem to pull it frequently, don't know why.

Any suggestions on mana acceleration would be welcome, this decks only real problem is it takes a while to get rockin'.

The Megrims are staying, at least a pair of them anyway. I like Assassinate because not many people use it so it's less anticipated than a Terror, and Sudden Death can't kill things bigger than 4 toughness. I may add a Dread or No Mercy (if it's Type 2 legal). Might add a Damnation or two if I can acquire them cheaply enough or in a trade.

Misdirection and luck is the only answer I have for them really, if I can get them thinking I'm going to do something else and get them spending their counters on unimportant stuff I might get the Fireball off. Then again, they might not fall for it and crush me. Such are the variences of the game.

You have the Gemhides and Gemstone mines, consider splashing white for Essence Slivers, gives all your slivers Lifelink. Looks like you're trying to keep it Type II, if that's the case, it's not bad. Also look into the Sliver Legion, it requires all 5 colors to cast, but that shouldn't be an issue withe the gemhides and Mines. Also, look into the lands that require you to return a land to your hand when you play them, you can return a Gemstone Mine to your hand when it has one counter left.

Also look into an Ascendant Evincar, he's a little pricey, but he's cool. Add a couple more Nantuko Husks and look for creatures that do things when they go to the graveyard.

Pull the Death Pit Offering and 5 other cards and put in 2 Urborg Panthers, 2 Feral Shadows, and 2 Breathstealers, if you have all 3 of those in play, you can search your library hand and graveyard for Spirit of the Night and put him directly into play instead of paying his insane casting cost. Off-hand I'd pull Sol'Kanar, THe Vampiric Dragon, The Hypnotic Specters ( I love em, but they're just not that useful in this deck), and pull the Gangrenous Zombies.

Taunting Elf would be nice in there. A 0/1 with built in Lure? For 1 green? Instill Energy on it and it can attack the turn it comes into play. Also, if you're not shooting for any particular legality Life and Limb and an Elvish Farmer would be an interesting combo. Sacrifice Forests for 2 life each. Probably not something to build a deck around, but it might save you if you run into trouble. Otherwise, looks good as-is.

I use Assassinates in my discard deck. It's creature removal that comes as a surprise. It does the same thing as a Royal Assassin, but if people see a Royal Assassin sitting there they aren't as likely to attack, or they'll kill it. Assassinate has the advantage of being less anticipated. I won a game today because my opponent (who was at -2 life) attacked with his Platinum Angel, an otherwise good move as I had nothing to block with. It backfired when I Assassinated his Angel on my next turn.

Replace the Coat of Arms with a Sliver Legion, it does the exact same thing, but only for slivers, so you won't pump up tribal decks you're playing against, and it's a 7/7 to boot.

Furnace Dragon will finish you, as will Dust to Dust, Return to Dust and any number of other spells that say "remove from game"

Add 2 more Lattices, this deck relies on it way too much to not have 4 of them in there. Also a Darksteel Forge will make all YOUR artifacts (i.e. everything once the lattice is out) indestructible.

Avalanche Riders would be nice, and maybe a Dwarven Blastminer or two for non-basic lands. Also, the Myr Landshaper/Echoing Ruin combo won't work, all the other lands have to be artifacts as well, the Landshaper only changes one. Mycosynth Lattice, however, WILL work.

Try swapping out the Disciple for Nim Shriekers, a 0/1 flyer that gets +1/+0 for every artifact you control, casting cost is 1 and a black I believe.

Aether Vial is banned in extended as well. Just thought I'd throw that out there. An almost identical deck beat me in a vintage tourney a while back. Grab the Reins is an alternative to Fling for extended legal.

Ambassador Laquatus, Merfolk Wizard. Pay three to mill three cards, doesn't tap so you can mill however many you can pay for. He was reprinted in 10th so he's legal in Standard.

Glimpse the Unthinkable isn't in my deck, it should be, but I don't have any. Perplex is a great card, counters a spell unless your opponent discards their whole hand, and if you don't need it you can transmute it for anything with the same converted mana cost.
