As nice as that demon is, I feel I don't have enough human sacrifices for it.

I think you'll need more blue mana sources (maybe 2x Island).
Also if you want to do what you said in your desctiption, use Unsummon instead, costs the same but without the "lose 1 life" side affect.

I prefer Galvanic Blast / Shock over Pillar of Flame. Galvanic Blast / Shock is an instant where Pillar of Flame is a sorcery. But your choice should be based on what you want to achieve, the instants flexibility of when it can be played suits me, but Pillar of Flame having the ability to exile a creature is appealing too.

I find this "new format" to have a gaping hole that can be manipulated greatly. Any card that cares about lands (or lack of lands) in either the hand or library of any player will be broken / useless in this format (all depending on the card) and there's a sh*t load of cards that care for that.

Here's the direction I'd take your deck, but also keeping it budget friendly:

If I had no money limit, I'd add more expensive stuff like Inkmoth Nexus.

I say keep the Livewire Lash and anything that you can target your own creatures with, but definitly remove cards with proliferate. Ponder is a must, but I'd also suggest adding more cards that target your creatures, preferably all that cost 1 mana. It'll be difficult to balance the creature / target spell ratio, but if you get it rite, you should be able to win without attacking :p

I forgot to mention that Mutagenic Growth can also save a creature from burn.
The quicker mono black infect builds I've seen don't run proliferate at all. If you decide to remove the proliferate, you could look into adding things like Liliana of the Veil.

Hmmm... I'd say test it with 2 Bonfires in mainboard and decide from there.

Bonfire does X damage. In this case, X is determined by how much mana you put into X, but because there's 2 X's, you need to pay it twice. Eg: I want Bonfire's X value to be 2, I'd then have to pay 2 mana for each of the 2 X's.

Glad to be of help :)
I forgot to suggest another card I've had used against me from mono black infect decks, Mutagenic Growth. You attack, I let the 1/1 through and then you pay 2 life to make it a 3/3. Trust me, it's annoying and most of the time I can't do anything about it :|

Not bad. Mite I suggest that you try to work in a set of Lashwrithe. I've often lost to Lashwrithe + Inkmoth / Crusader.

PS. I hate playing against decks that run Virulent Wound, I almost always lose my 1 drop to it :(

On a whole, I like it :) Though I'd try add a few Whipflares to the sideboard. I'm also not fond of Volt Charge and I've found the Shrine to be too slow for my liking (the 3 mana to activate is a little iffy to me).

I've also seen people use the red green dual land mainboard just for cards like Ancient Grudge that theyu had in their sideboards.

Interesting build, but you forgot Ponder and Mana Leak.
I find Rooftop Storm a little too pricey for what it does. By the time you get to cast it, you'll most likely have cast most / all your Zombies.

Here's a few things I was going to use back when I wanted to make a Giant tribal deck. I was going to make it dual tribal (Giant Warrior) and dual coloured (RW):
I'd have used Brighthearth Banneret in addition to Stinkdrinker Daredevil to make the Giant Warriors cost even less to cast.
I was also going to use Shields of Velis Vel on the opponent's creatures with Boldwyr Intimidator's can't block warriors ability as a "killing blow" combo.
There was also one or two white Giant Warrior cards that I had considered and there's the RW land that enters the battlefield tapped unless you reveal a Giant.

Also don't forget that the Titans are Giants (eg Inferno Titan).

You could try add Adaptive Automation as a "lord".
If this wasn't standard legal, I'd suggest a few other things.

Honestly, with my experience playing with and against Goblin deck, I find Æther Vial to slow down goblin decks.

What's cool about the Tyrant is at its worst you get a 7/7 that kills a land, at best, a 7/7 that kills a lot of things and a land.

Invisible Stalker is an awesome creature to use to initiate the Ninjitsu. Hexproof allows it to avoid spot removal. Dimir Infiltrator can serve to purposes, first as an unblockable creature and second as a search card.
Once the Ninjas are in, instead of bouncing them back to Ninjitsu them again, why not Enchant them with Protective Bubble or equip them with Whispersilk Cloak? Both grant unblockable and shroud, allowing the ninjas' abilities to trigger every attack and protect them from spot removal.

I run a UB Heartless deck and personally I prefer Phyrexian Metamorph over Phantasmal Image. It can copy artifacts too :)
Also you may want to try add some Massacre Wurm for matches against Token swarm decks.

The best part about reanimator decks is you can modify the creature base (to some extent) to better suit your play style and your group's meta. I'd love to see a deck run Gisela and Malignus in the same deck, all that'd be needed then would be a way to give Malignus 'unblockable'.
