Don't know if you know this, but second you try equipping one of the Phantasmals, it'll die.

Cascade Bluffs can help filter your mana to the colour you want :p
This is almost a tribal deck (Beast) :p
Glistner Elf and Vampire's Bite would work quite nicely in this deck.
I can't say, our group doesn't play Modern (only Legacy and Standard). I actually prefer the Agent to stay on my opponent's side and Pillory of the Sleepless works wonders on the Agent :p
With the copious amount of artifact you have, Stoic Rebitual comes to mind, but the {U}{U} mite be a problem with your low amount of blue mana. So maybe Mana Leak?
This deck is actually a result of modifying my 'Attack me, I dare you' deck. This deck is a lot of fun and I've actually used it in a Legacy tournament. I've had a few problems with my stuff being stolen and / or killed, but there's very little I can do about it without messing up the idea of the deck.
I run 4. they cost {1} to play and {1} to equip, so you don't lose much speed and having multiple on a creature that gets blocked results in even more draw for you :) I'd say stick to 20 lands. I run 17, but that's because everything in my gobbie deck costs 2 or 1 (except my Chieftains that cost 3). Your deck has allot more higher cost cards than mine, so you'll need more lands.
A card people miss when making a deck like this is Surge Node. It's cheap and puts extra charge counters on other artifacts (the cannon works off of charge counters).
I like what you got going here, but (and I'm going to boast now) I think my BW Stronghold Discipline deck ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=229122 ) mite just be more irritating. I confuse the opponent by giving him creatures and prevent any incoming attacks with my 'fog' spells, all the while making the opponent lose life for getting creatures, attacking with creatures and having creatures :p
With a perfect draw you could swing with a 7/7 Nip Gwyllion. turn 1 - land, Nip Gwyllion. turn 2 - land, Edge of the Divinity, Edge of the Divinity, swing :p
Oh, now I understand. I run a similar style lockdown deck (that's currently undergoing a MAJOR redesign) using Mists of Stagnation and Planar Void. The up side to mine is there's no need to pay any form of upkeep and I get to play my turn (if I so wish), the down side is Mists costs 5 and Void is black. To buy time early game, I use stuff like Propaganda and Sleep. Instead of Frozen Æther, I use Orb of Dreams, it costs 1 less, but it affects me too, but with the design of my mist deck I don't mind as I should be the only one untapping. With nothing but lands being able to be played by the opponent, his hand fills up, so I play Ebony Owl Netsuke to damage him because of it :p
How is Chronatog + Stasis a combo? Am I missing something? I can understand Chronatog in a Stasis lockdown deck, but I'm not seeing it as a combo.
You make a good argument, but I still like Traumatise (personal preference and whatnot). I do agree on the extraction to get rid of cards that shuffle back, but in addition to that (or instead of) the Leyline of the Void (or even Planer Void) would solve that problem too :p
And this is why Flash is banned in Legacy (thank [enter deity name here])
Seeing that you're already running 4 Cloudpost and 4 Vesuva, why not complete the '12 Post' lands by using 4 Glimmerpost? Just a thought. Also the biggest downside I see here is no way of dealing with cards like Magus of the Moon and land destruction, counterspells maybe? Even if you just put them in sideboard :p
I like the general idea, but I have to agree with thorne44, Teetering Peaks should come out. The "enters the battlefield tapped" part will slow you down way too much. I run a standard goblin deck and find the best feature in it is the draw (yes I got draw in red). Goblins often get blocked so as to kill them and I equip mine with Infiltration Lens (especially useful on Goblin Gaveleer). The other draw I use is Ichor Wellspring. It serves 2 extra purposes in my gobbie deck, 1) metalcraft for Galvanic Blast and 2) fuel for Kuldotha Rebirth. Draw in a goblin / burn deck works wonders :p
I'd beg to differ, it's an awesome Mill staple. In a mill deck your target is (on average) 53 cards (60 - 7) and Traumatize does half the job in one move, it's almost like saying "I pay 5 to deal you 10 damage". Though playing 4 in a deck isn't a good idea, 2 is just fine :p
You mite like the one land coming in Innestrad: Nephalia Drownyard Land Rare {T}: Add {1} to your mana pool. {1]{U}{B}, {T}: Target player puts the top three cards of his or her library into his or her graveyard.
They are surprisingly difficult to get hold of (unless you buy them and even then...)
