i just thought i'd let u know that corpsejack menace does absolutely nothing with undying creatures. corpsejack says that if a counter would be PLACED. undying says when this creature dies, return it to the battlefield with a +1/+1 counter on it. counters arent placed on creatures with undying, the just come back with 1.

i would drop sluiceway scorpion and a few other things like predator ooze and maybe a troll or 2. add in some farseeks or rangers path for mana ramp and move a deaths presence or 2 to main. also in a deck like this u wanna find a way to get champion in main, and to be honest gravecrawler really isnt a good fit. i think the only combo that would be good with it would be discarding it to the troll but other than that i dont see it very beneficial in this deck. how u do these things is up to u. i dont usually like to tell people how to build their decks. one more thing to consider is grim backwoods. think about this... if u have a grim backwoods out and a slitherhead on the field, your opponent attacks, u could block and before damage use the grim backwoods to pawn off the slitherhead. the damage is blocked, slitherhead is in the graveyard like u want him, and u get to draw a card.

hey didnt notice til just now but u commented on my +1/+1 counter deck. u were saying i should put in 4 trolls and drop jarad and the guildmage.the reason i have the guildmage is so i dont have to wait to get my champion to be able to hit the player directly, i have jarad so i can hit with a good 1-2 punch. by that i mean attack for a decent amount and then sac off the creature. if it has a lot of counters on it, its possible to finish off the other player with that combo. the reason i ddint use the troll is because i dont use gravecrawlers, and there isnt a lot of scavegeable creatures in the deck, so i would just be giving up my creatures.

also u were talking about in my deck it would take 8 turns just to get 5 lands. no offense but thats kinda dumb of u to say. u are playing green. if u find room for farseek or rangers path, then what i proposed defiantely wouldnt be a problem. by the way... 4 selesnya charms main board and 1 in side? derp.

hey sorry its been a few days since my last comment. i know what you are saying with the mana creatures, but the only reason i suggested what i did is because you have 4 wolfir silverhearts. this deck is obviously more midrange than fast aggro. i have a r/g deck with the elves and sages. just because sage is a 3 drop doesnt mean u have to play her as soon as u get the chance. u were saying its not good to rely on mana creatures. youre right. dont think of them as things u need, just things that help. most people dont see arbor elf as very threatening, plus u have decent creatures to hold out with like loxodon smiter and strangleroot geist. when i play my deck i get out wolfir silverheart first. that way when i play somberwald sage i can pair it with the silverheart, which makes it harder to kill. also if u can hold off until u can do something like that, then most of the time u probably wont over extend my casting all of your creatures in your hand just to have them board wiped.

true but a turn 3 thragtusk is a stunner. also depending on your mana u could also pop sigarda on turn 3. u may think it seems dumb but its not. everyone at my fnm store just saw somberwald sage as a weak link. until we were proved wrong. let me tell u what happend to me. turn 3 trostani. turn 4, 2 thragtusks. turn 5, craterhoof behemoth. thats just an example of what can happen with somberwald sage. believe it or not, but thats not even one of the worst things that could happen. what would it hurt to try it? if it doesnt work, then you can say i told u so.

What if u replaced either pilgrim or arbor elf with somberwald sage. Yes, she costs 3 instead of 1 but she is very beneficial in a deck like this... especially mid-late game. Also, I would drop a plains and a forest but only because u have 6 mana creatures. If u are comfortable with doing that, that will give u enough room for 2 thraggies.

the deck is good but there are some things i suggest that would probably make the deck a little better while keeping the whole undying plot if that's what u wish. it would probably be best to drop rakdos(both creature and the burn spell) down to 2 in favor of bump in the night. putting in bump in the knight would also help out rakdos and cryptborn horror. 1 other thing i suggest is evening out the swamps and mountains and replacing hellrider with geralfs messenger. the ash zealots and vexing devils are really good too. but u should probably replace the ash zealots with butcher ghoul. btw im not sure if its butcher ghoul or butchering ghoul but u get the point. also maybe consider taking out the cryptborn horrors for blood artists. keep in mind that my suggestions are only if u are making this deck strictly an undying deck.

this deck is great. its some of the heaviest aggro ive seen as far as green white goes. but u should definately check out my new project green white. its very simple and very inexpensive compared to most decks u see now. not only that, its a quick kill type of deck. with just a decent hand, it could be over in 2-3 of your turns. check it out. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=400571

no one underestimate this!!! theres a guy that has been undefeated at my fnm for 3 straight weeks with a deck almost identical to this. on average he can finish u off on his 4th turn.

to be serious though, i hope this isnt a deck u planned on using at fnm. no offense but this deck sucks. if this is just a deck u posted for the hell of it then what u put in it is up to u. but if this is a real deck and u r looking for some advice u should make the changes i suggest if u have the cards. first, almost every creature needs to have exalted. also definately take out the artifacts. to be honest it would just be easier to give a full deck list. i have a friend who has won at fnm 2 or 3 times with the decklist im about to provide.

most likely the only reason it beat u is because of all the low cost strong creatures. if it werent for those it most likely wouldnt have a chance against an infect deck
