As Cleveland would say in Family Guy: "Oh that's just nasty. "

Agreed. Tempo is such a hard to learn aspect of the game, especially depending on what format you play out the meta game in your area

It's a combination of both likes and comments. Don't know exactly how it works out but that's what it is

The comments don't really matter. At least they are active on the site. It's good to see new people on here. Don't hate just because they made the hot page. It's hard to do if you aren't lucky or northernwarlord lol

You have a lot going on in this deck, and the two white cards just don't feel like they belong here. I like the overall idea, so I would say swap out your white cards for things that can maximize other aspects of the deck, like Waste Not. That gives you space for two more snapcaster also. Now by doing that, ten of your land can be changed out too. Swap the flooded strand for verdant catacombs, Godless shrine for a fourth watery grave, plains and temple garden for swamps, and isolated chapel for another forest. That's how I would fix the mana base

And that's fine! I'm not gong to try and tell you how to build your deck. Too many people on here do that already. Kjsj3 knows what I mean

What's wrong with that? I have 2 decks that are awesome as hell and they both use unhinged cards to great effect!

4 sliver hive
4 reflecting pool
4 cavern of souls
4 mana confluence
4 Ancient ziggurat

That should be your mana base with slivers. Also, thorncaster sliver. You need at least 1 in here

Having made an edh using iroas as the commander, I will tell you straight up that this deck will get stomped. Almost every edh deck runs legacy cards, so you will have your hands full if you used this as it is. I'm not saying the deck is bad, just that it can be so much better. Take mine for example (http://www.mtgvault.com/drakeraenes/decks/iroas-god-of-victory-edh-2/). Mine is all about getting the combat phases, and it does it spectacularly.

Isochron is good but it's too slow for competitive games

Absolutely. I started out with mardu before testing the waters with abzan and sultai. Got to love that crackling doom!

Exactly. That's why I like that little three card combo. It's like what guru did for krillin and gohan in Dragon ball z: maximum potential!!!
