Life and Limb is usually only cast if Hivestone and Virlent Sliver are on the board or in my hand for an alpha kill strike, or as a desperation move if I am losing badly. Good call however, thanks for checking out the deck.

Found the deck - only cards which may fit in your build are Leyline of Lightning and Boros Fury-Shield. I played mostly white creatures and lifegain with 4 searing meditation.

I agree totally. I do not play on line and played this deck in casual multiplayer and also liked it in two-headed giant format. I never used Manabards which I like because it was not standard legal when I built the Deck. Now I have to go into my basement and find the deck and see what else might inprove the concept.

I played a Tamanoa/ Searing Meditation deck when it was in standard rotation, and found pain lands very effective in setting up the chain -damage-life-damage -life until you ran out of mana. Why Kavu Predator? Seems more like a sideboard creature against lifegain. Nice Deck and how has it been performing for you?

Since you are already playing Goblin Recruiters why not add Wheel of Fortune, Goblin Bombardment, . and Goblin Grenade to increase the carnage. Sulfuric Vortex might also find a home in this deck. Offense is your defense, but do not over commit your troops to the battlefield.

I would move Ink Eyes even though you are playing Dark Rituals. You are only playing 20 lands so Ink Eyes will come out much latter than Chittering Rats making Pack Rat less effective. You might want to put a Diabolic Tutor in your deck (or any more expensive black tutor) to pull your rat of choice. False Cure and Null Rod are cards which can help you against life gain decks and Elixir of immortality.

This is a nice idea that was done a lot in casual legacy. There are a lot less options in Modern. Cephalid Constabile may help if you can give him unblockability and a cheap equipment to bounce 2-3 permanents a turn. Akki Underminer is a another marginal creature card you could try. Crack the Earth can destroy a land on turn one if you play it with the Guide and play your land after it resolves followed by a next turn Scepter with him stuck on one land unless he had a three land hand - a stretch I know. Maybe have some 1 drop spells that change lands to islands in your sideboard if your opponent is not playing blue. You are not Brom the magic Card and fantasy artist or are you?????

Graveyard hate takes care of Recover - Relic of Progenitus, Tormod's Crypt, Leyline of the Void. Throat Slitter is a decent card, but I believe speed would help your deck more with Pack Rats.

I don't usually sideboard in Fog that often. Use the elimination spells to keep the pressure off. The main problem with the deck is drawing consistantly a good mix of cards - land glut or famine every so often. When the deck gets a good mix it usually beats face. Thanks for taking a look, as I am a big fan or Rat decks and have a legacy build ( Around Balthor the Defiled), a modern deck so-so, and a Relentless Rats EDH that catches many decks by surprise with its speed.

Pretty solid rat deck. I would sideboard Mutilates just in case things get out of hand. Typhoid Rat - deathtouch - is too good of a one drop not to include. Maybe sideboard Throat-Slitter to give you a faster deck. The infect rats should only be used in an all infect deck. Splitting infect and life loss damage only prolongs the game. Check out my Standard Rat deck.

Try Cabal Pit (2) and take out the 2 fetch lands. That 2 life lost may come back to bit yo u in games against Burn /Red deck Wins decks. Cabal Pit provides that occasional elimination you might need. Deck seems like a fairl y standard Pox build and should serve you adequately in most matchups with a positive win percentage. I am a fan of Phyrexian Totem in Pox decks give that a try also.

The old Ice Age creature , Shyft, might help your deck as a backup Scrap basket replacing the elemental as easier to cast. You could also drop Fist of the Suns for countering or bounce, and strengthen your land base. Reaper King would become more difficult to cast however. Looks like a nice fun tribal deck.

I played an infect deck based around Assualt Strobe back when the Infect Block was in Standard. The deck never really got above 50% win ratio in tournaments. This is because Strobe is a sorcery and your opponent will save his kill spell for it. In a casual format this deck may shine but it has to be very aggressive Check out my mono-green infect deck to see what I mean. Good Luck

Yes you have too many auras for the amount of Creatures. I played Birds and Auratog in all my early Enchantress decks to good success. Ornothopter, 1 drop elves, white creatures with shadow or flying - Aven Squire - would all work in your deck Try 16 creatures and 14 auras and see how it goes. Drop Primal Cocoon and Holy strength to fit in the creatures. Hope this helps.

the deck has no real focus. How are you attempting to win the game? You are playing a lot of clerics and soulbond, but the creatures do not really make each other more effective. Soulbond should provide a cohesive base to your offense and a readily attainable kill considtion. Your creature base seems to be based solely on the fact that you own them. Your elimination spell package ia pretty good, ut drop a few creatures to get the deck down to 60 cards. Play the deck and find out what works and play those cards in multiples and eliminate the weak links.. When you lose a match figure out why you lost and add a solution to your sideboard or your main deck if it does not effect your tempo. If you take some time to work on it, you can make this deck a whole lot more effective.

Nice casual deck. Maybe try Wall of Omens over Wall of Vines - card advantage, and add Oblivion Ring, Journey to Nowhere, Ghostly Prison, Prison Term, and Moldervine Cloak over Giant Growth. Sideboard should contain Spirit Link and Seal of Cleansing. You might also want to find a home for Mesa Enchantress or Verduran Enchantress if you want to play a more traditional type of enchantment deck.

I do not think you need 4 Training Grounds in the deck since you have only the Izzet Guildmage to utilize the enchantment. If you want to play 4 Training Grounds add more activated ability creatures. Works with Slivers and Step-up creatures for example. Possibly add Distortion Strike , and Assault Probe to make your Eldrazi attack lethal that much quicker. Your deck idea is solid but needs more synergy between the Izzet and Eldrazi elements. Develop a sideboard with countershells and artifact removal, and maybe some red x burn spells. Good Luck.

Leave the Shriekhorns if you feel they add consistency, but maybe look for a nother cheap black dredge card to replace at least 2 of them. Good Luck

Cut the number of Marrow-Gnawers to 2 and play Diabolic Tutor. You need more removal in the deck - drop the Throat -Slitters ,or Locus Misers for Doom Blade, Tragic Slip etc. Could add Mutilate as a board Clearer. Pack Rat is awesome if he stays on the battlefield for a turn with open mana. Tutoring for him is just too strong to pass up. Ravenous Rats is one of the best 2 drop rats, consider a place for it in your deck.

Spell Pierce should probably replace Mage's Guile. Mindshrieker should help as a stall/offensive creature I like Lab Maniac decks. I play a Blue/white version using Mirror Mad Phantasm and Seance for the win in the Standard format.
