Nice for flavor...but not nice for the deck.Those cards make me sack both lands and creatures. I need lands and creatures very, very much in this deck for Pestilence. I would end up killing my own creature and Pestilence would end up in the graveyard, which I do not want. And it would nuke my lands. I need them to be able to pump Pestilence up. However, it really is good flavor for the deck. Thanks for the suggestions.

I wanted to keep it legal. And I thought, with all of the mana ramp...I could use the Diabolic tutor to get the card in my hand, and play it asap, regardless of it costing 2 mana more than Demonic.
No lies, Fireblast has won me more matches/games than all other cards combined.
And wow, the Vectis card gives me so many freaking ideas for decks.Thanks for letting me know that card existed! And 18 lands...3 of which comes in tapped...you may find trouble with that. Not sure. Will have to play test it. The Guildmage, in particular, looks like he would love all the extra mana you could find.
Serra's Sanctum for the win. Mana ramp like a champ. But it destroys the "The deck is cheap and looks fun. May have to actually try this one out!" part of the deck.

And that my friends, to put my 2 cent in, is why something like Fireblast is greatness. 4 damage for free! Sack 2 lands. What is 2 lands when your highest spell is going to be 4 or less mana?Plus the lands can be tapped.Example2 mountains.Tap 1 to play Chain Lightning. Tap 2nd to play Lightning Bolt.Sack both of those tapped lands to play Fireblast.For 2 mana you just got yourself 10 damage done!!!With a Furance of Rath in play, 20 damage. Yippie.
