Did not know about Elesh Norn.

She is sorta like Ascendant Evincar or Crovax, Ascendant Hero.
That gives me an idea...play an entire deck with creatures/cards like that.
Oh, wait, crap, look at your Enchantments!
Very nice!
Can you find room for one Crovax, then?
But I am guessing Elesh Norn is more aggro than Crovax. She can attack/block every turn. Crovax is more worried about protecting himself.
Still...having 1 Crovax and 1 Elesh out at the same time...nice!
Each of your creatures would be +3/+3 and each of your opponent's creatures would be -3/-3. Ouch.

It has my like.
I rarely focus on Sideboard...but your Sideboard rocks, fyi.

I think it is much under appreciated and studied.

Truth (at least for me):
If you can gain and hold tempo advantage the entire game then you have a great chance at winning the game. No pulling your leg, if you maintain tempo advantage the entire game I would wager you have a 75 percent change of winning. Regardless of your hand. Regardless of your life. Regardless of your mana. Regardless of drawing cards. That is why I love Bounce so damn much. Bounce is a case study of how Tempo works.

When looking at Tempo...consider cards like Acidic Slime.
You play your Acidic Slime and instantly kill one of their creatures/lands/artifacts.
You are +1 in tempo. Or 1 for 1. You played 1 card to remove 1 of their cards. Fair.
Your opponent attacks with a creature and you block with your Acidic Slime (with deathtouch), and opponent's creature dies.
You are +2 in tempo. Or 2 for 1. You played 1 card to remove 2 of their cards. Very nice!
You do stuff like that for an entire game...and you have a great chance at winning, regardless of your opponent's game plan.

Or Bounce.
You play Wash Out on your opponent's green/red deck.
You play 1 Wash Out card and you remove 3 of your opponent's green cards in play.
You are +3 in tempo. You played 1 card to remove 3 of their cards. Great!

Tempo is more important than life gain, card draw, mana ramp, removal, etc.

Look at it like this...in simple terms...if your opponent is playing the entire game trying to catch up to you, then you are doing stuff right! If they are too busy to go on the offensive, then you are doing stuff right. If your opponent is trying to answer to you, instead of you having to answer to his threats, then you are doing stuff right.

They're Pinky and the Brain
Yes, Pinky and the Brain
Their twilight campaign is easy to explain
To prove their mousy worth
They'll overthrow the earth
They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the Brain
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, narf

Perhaps, maybe besides blue decks...black decks gain the most from using draw cards.

Sure thing...but I suck with rules...so might not be able to tell you if you are using cards right.

Has my vote :)

Though I don't agree with all of it...and some of it is obvious (maybe not to noobs, though...which is the point of teaching them).

I think we need to discuss tempo.
For me, that is the most important aspect of Magic.

You are welcome. I was more confused than anything. Your deck got the 5 likes needed to make it to the Hot Page...but it wasn't added there. It is odd. I noticed, the last month, there are only like 30 hot decks where there use to be 50 hot decks. Not sure if no one is on mtgvault anymore...or if they have changed it to where it is harder for a deck to become hot.

Yep. Because the 15 cards in the sideboard I want to be all black (as the third color). I do not want lands in the sideboard...so the mana has to be perfect. And probably expensive like fetches. Expensive is lame. Or stuff like Mana Confluence and City of Brass.

It's cool. Super busy with kids and college anyways. I just love that I can come to Magic to relax.
The Kithkin/Sliver combo deck has perked my interests though!

I am currently stuck on Nampo's challenge. Scroll up and look at that beast!

Why is this not a Hot Deck?
Ugh.

Probably would do some Kithkin/Sliver combo with Hivestone. Have a few decks to do first, but sure, I could come up with a +1/+1 Kithkin/Sliver deck.

Has my like.
Deck seems very close...but something is a little off...know what I mean?
Something doesn't quite feel right.
Maybe it is the fact that while you do have the option of bouncing your Thragtusk...it seems like some games will come down to "do I bounce his stuff or do I bounce Thragtusk.

Up the Thragtusk, because he seems like your Win Condition. Or at least your best creature.

I sorta like the Rancor over the Pike...although Pike is probably better for the deck. Just seems like the Rancor and Thragtusk tokens would work nice together. Plus, when you bounce your creatures...Rancor, of course, will not go to the graveyard or have to be re-equiped. Like I said though, Pike is probably better because of the mass amount (24) of instant cards.

My favorite green/blue card you say? Temporal Spring. It is lovely. 3 mana Boomerang...which is sorta lame...but it isn't double blue, which is nice.

Another high mana card...but playable in your deck...is Progenitor Mimic. Mimic on Thragtusk is nasty. A free Thragtusk every turn is brutal!

Good luck!
Keep up the bounce decks. They are my favorite!

Yep, will check it out.
You saying you actually proxied some of my decks...that is one of the highlights of joining this website.
Yeah...EDH...ugh, those were thrown out as challenges to me.
I do not like making them, lol.

I throw out challenges to people (see: http://www.mtgvault.com/jessie/decks/puschkins-card-challenge/)
and they suggest EDH decks and other crazy stuff like Nampo with his Sideboard Switcheroo!

No 1 mana creatures like that...but, umm, Whirling Dervish would rock. It would keep getting pumped up. Could be a powerhouse in 3 or 4 turns.

With the Memorial card...i was more hinting at playing creatures with protection from black, built into them.
That way they are unblockable by your opponent.

Regardless, love the deck, old friend!

Lovely!!

Reap would rock.

Protection from black...like Akroma's Memorial would rock.

Deathgrip would be the black version of Lifeforce.
