The one guy I play Magic against...a few times a year, does not have cards like Force of Will/Counterflux. He plays stuff like Discard, Burn, Combo type decks. I just end up dying from drawing too many cards before I can use Tendrils. :( Thanks for the suggestions. You are spot on with them.

Sorry for asking such dumb questions. Here is one more:

Question.
I am trying to make another Donate type deck.
I Switcheroo, Bazaar Trader, Legerdemain my Jackal Pup/Shinka Gatekeeper/Firedrinker Satyr to my opponent. I then cast Shivan Meteor and Blasphemous Act on them. They go boom and nuke my opponent. Right? Pretty sure of that one.
My question. I give control of my Firedrinker Satyr to my opponent. Can I still use my red mana to pump the Satyr up? Or is that against the rules sense I own the card but my opponent controls the card?

Not sure I can help you much. You have the best combo pieces for the deck. There are a few green cards and/or a few expensive artifacts that you could add, that you do not have in the deck, but they wouldn't make the deck really better.

Oh yeah, +1.

Joking aside, you do get some hate on this site, I have noticed...but you speak truth. This deck needs money thrown at it to be consistent. Just don't have it.

I could buy a car with the price of that deck.

Yeah, more than once drawing into a Ad Nauseam killed me.
Thing was...I wanted to draw it first turn and have 5 mana...for the first turn kill.
Reducing the number will definitely allow me a few wins...but lessen the chance I will get that first turn kill.
Regardless...being 0-12, something has to change.

I always kill myself trying to draw enough cards to storm for 20. I can't seem to get enough cards before I kill myself.

I have had the first turn Ad Nauseam and 5 mana several times. I just keep nuking my life and never have enough cards to Storm with Tendrils.

That guy got it right. The main difference between his deck and my deck is he had the money to pay 200 dollars for 4 Mox Opal.

I can't get it to work, myself. Ad Nauseam.
I guess I need to put money into it and get the Moxes with 0 mana.
I always kill myself.
I am like 0-12 with the deck!
Paid 150 buck for the cards too!
I only own like 3 or 4 of the over 100 decks I have posted on here.
The 1st turn Tendril deck is one of them.
It has been a huge disappointment for me.

Sorry guys. I see this deck is not getting a lot of love.
There are a lot more decks out there, right now, that was more deserving.
I try, though, to get around and comment/like other decks as often as I can. Try to make other people get notice.
Sometimes Mtgvault is tricky. I make awesome decks that I think deserve 100 likes...and no one pays them attention...and at other times I make a passable deck that gets on the Hot Page. Go figure. I know it has to feel like that to you too, at times. Just keep on trucking and fighting the good fight! :) Don't give up. I love this website.

If you would like for me to check any of your decks out, just post it here.
I will do so when I get the chance.

He is not standard anymore. That is why he plummeted in price.

Yep, I know KnightoftheHokeyPokey made a great boros deck too.

Speaking of, he has plummeted in price!!!

How much was Boros Reckoner at one point? Over 20 dollars?!
You can buy one now for 2.30 usa dollars.
You can buy a used one for less than 2 dollars!!!

With him and Lightning Helix in the same deck...I can see why the deck is so popular.
I will run Pyroclasm, for sure in the deck.
That will be a little unique, right? Most people don't play Pyroclasm in Boros decks, or do they?
The idea rocks. Pyroclasm nukes all creatures with defense 2 or less. Your Boros survives Pyroclasm and actually redirects the damage to a creature/opponent allowing you to deal an extra 2 damage to a creature nuking him if the creature has a defense of 4 or less.

I also already have a Ob Nixilis deck done too. :) But I will do the Gruul Burn and a Boros Aggro deck.

Not sure what Gruul or Boros are/is. But I can use the cards you mentioned, sure.
I have a 60 card creature deck for your no land deck, already in my deck library. :)
It is a deck, as mentioned, with 60 creatures. No spells. No lands. No artifacts. Nothing but creatures.
It will be a while...I have a deck or two to make before your decks.

Will agree Vaan, mana curve/occurrence is very important. And one of the reasons why I love mtgvault so much. It shows mana curve/occurrence for you!
