Not necessarily simple. I want cheap and good.
She can learn the deck, in time, no matter how difficult.
So far I have:
Green - land destruction
Blue - bounce
Black - creature sac

I am thinking:
Red - burn
White - creature overrun

I have a few days out of college...and might see what I can do.
I was just wondering if you had seen any special white or red deck that really amazed you.

You are using the Harrier for dual purposes, right?
1. to tap opponent's creatures
2. to tap your Whiteclay?
Nice.
I love Kithkin, and like how you kept this budget.

I love Kithkin. They are probably my second favorite Tribal. Neat little guys. I have made a few Kithkin decks, I believe, and not sure if any of them were budget.
Will check out the deck posted above.
Thanks!

Northy.
You have a favorite mono white deck?
Or a favorite mono red deck?

I never have anyone to play against.
My wife will play occasionally.
So, since I can't go play my one Mtg friend...I figured once or twice a month I could convince my wife to play.
I thought, "If i make a budget deck of ever color, it will be affordable to buy, and easy to play my wife with."

I already have a mono blue budget deck done.
I have a mono green budget deck close to being done (missing 3 cards)
I have a mono black budget deck close to being done (missing 4 cards)
I just need a mono red one and a mono white one.

It is indeed my favorite deck.

Trying to get a Legacy Budget deck for every color bought.
I have the blue one (mentioned above)
I have a black one (Spudshaver's Mono black deck, it is amazing, fyi!)
I have a green one (my land destruction deck)

I need a mono white deck.
And I need a mono red deck.
Been looking around on here, may end up with Northy's white deck or one of his Red decks.
You guys have a suggestion?

Way I figure, I never get to play anyone. Occasionally my wife will play though. So, I thought, since she is a novice, to have a easy to understand/budget deck of each color. That way we could play once a week, or something like that.

Just passed my last test for this semester of school...just a few hours ago, so may take some time and try to make a white budget deck and a red budget deck.

I suck at white, period!
And Red...it seems, of all the colors, the most difficult to make budget. Just 4 Lighting Bolts along is 5 dollars! And I want the budget to be under 35. Might see what I can find/make.

It has never lost. 5-0 so far. Against a brutal mono black discard deck.

15 dollars for the entire deck.

"And it wiped everything" that felt great, didn't it? lol
I have done the same thing with Constable. It felt nice considering the deck is only 30 dollars, right?
Watching them as they have to choose which 3,4,5 permanents they return to their hand is fun!

Only Issue I see is aggro outpacing Constable.
If they are able to put several lands and creatures out fast...than Constable will not be able to bounce enough of them every turn, and you will lose.
Besides, that, it is my favorite deck that I own.

I have had 4th turn board swipes with Constable.
2nd turn Boomerang
3rd turn Constable
4th turn either Wings of Velis Vel or Zephid's Embrace. Attack with Constable. Bouncing 5 permanents by opponent's 4th turn will make them flip the table!

Here is one example that I know of.
2 Cards
Goblin Ringleader and Tarfire.
Play Ringleader. Now reveal the top 4 cards of your library. If one of those is Tarfire, you put it in your hand, because it counts as a Goblin.
Besides that...I don't know much about it.
It seemed to be discontinued though.

Another card, that no one mentions and use to devastate opponents, is Firestorm.

I like what you are trying to do, here.

I get a boner when I see Cephalid Constable in a deck.
I am not sure why he isn't 10 dollars a piece!
I guess because he has to have another card or two to really make him god like.

Don't ask...or they will flood you with deck ideas.
I just challenged people and I am on my 5th or 6th deck as we speak.

You want a challenge?

Make the best deck you can using all 3 of these expansions:
Urza's Destiny, Return to Ravnica, and Scourge.

Good luck.

"For example if two aggrodecks face off against each other then the slower one might be forced to play controllish."

For that reason, your deck may be better off (as Sorin points out) if your deck is a combination of the 3 types.
