Built a deck close to this with Academy Researchers...and was about to post it, until I did a deck search and seen 2 or 3 decks that were almost identical to mine. Needless to say, I erased my version.

But this deck is a little different! :)

I am iffy on some of your rules too.

#1 for example.
What if you do play a multiplayer blue deck? In theory, if one of your opponent's throws down a game winning card...you could steal it and therefore, everyone will not lose the game to him. You can almost act as an official...stealing threats that are about to kill an opponent.
If opponent A is being destroyed by opponent's B creature...you tell opponent B, "Hey bro, I will steal his creature and not attack you anymore, as long as you don't hurt/target me for a few turns in return."
Or, let us say opponent B can not be targeted by opponent C...you tell opponent C, "Hey bro, I will steal his permanent so that you can attack him, as long as you don't hurt/target me for a few turns in return."

Usually, if you are playing a card over 5 mana, in one-on-one matches, you have done something wrong. Almost always the mana cost are 5 or less. Multiplayer finally gives you the chance to play those crazy 8 mana spells! Hello Insurrection!!! Why yes I will play this 8 mana spell to steal every creature in the game (The Hell with Rule #1! lol) and attack you with them.

Finally, can I suggest you add #13?
I am awful at multiplayer deck building...and have only had once chance, in the last year, to play any multiplayer games...however, what about this:

Rule # 13. Play cards that your opponent might consider keeping you around if played.

Example. Howling Mine. It is a fun card. It is global. For everyone. Speeds up the game. Gives everyone extra mana. Adds an extra layer to the game. If you play that, your opponent might say, "Why would I want to kill him, if I am going to not be able to draw that extra card every turn? Maybe I will not target him."
Example #2. Mana Flare. Another fun card. Extra mana for everyone! You sir, are Mr. Nice Guy! Why would I want to kill you if you are giving me free stuff?

Will you consider looking at this multiplayer deck?
Any help would be a great help...just in case I do ever get to play multiplayer again.

I have made so many decks now, already.

Plus, I try to be original when I post a deck.

I spent 3 hours last night making a deck...only to do a deck search to see someone else had built a very similar deck to mine...so I erased mine!

If I can find any un cards that people haven't already made 200 decks with, I might try.

Would be easier to keep it the same tribal...as I suggested...but in theory...you could also do something like:

Girl Angels vs Boy Demons

I do not have to worry about that deck.
I do not play with or against 800 dollar decks!!!
But I can't wait to see Northy make a semi budget version of the deck!!
You can bet your ass I will be test playing it, and consider buying it.

Leap isn't very flavorful for Halloween...besides that, all of the cards could pass for Halloween type cards.
Impulse isn't very Halloween either.

Have any suggestions for subbing them out?

I try to be original...I even have started searching out decks/cards on MTG Vault when i come up with a deck.
IF i see someone else has made the deck I wanted to make. Or IF i see someone already has used the combo I wanted to use, and they have a lot of likes, I will not even try to make the deck!

Meaning a Girl Elf deck versus Boy Elf deck?

Or a Girl Human deck versus a Boy Human deck?

Here is my challenge to you, friend.

***Pick a tribe, and make duel decks featuring opposite sexes***

Rules:
1) Make them budget
2) If the title/name of the card is female OR if the person in the artwork looks like a female = female
If the title/name of the card is male Or if the person in the artwork looks like a male = male.

Would be interesting...if they have same card, from different expansion, of two different sexes.
Example: Isn't Elvish Piper both a guy in one art and a girl in another art/expansion?
