You don't need 40 relentless rats in fact most people who play decks like these say 18-20 is plenty. search cards for thrumming stones and mana acceleraters are good options for the other slots.

60 card decks are the minimum in constructed magic formats.

Storm counts the spells played NOT the copies played!

Get the deck down to 60 cards! Nothing screams Noob/Newb like a 80 card deck!

Get the deck down to 60 cards, run more lands as your land base will prove insufficient!

Sideboards have to be 15 cards in every constructed format!

Eye of the Storms copies would NOT count toward the storm count on Dragonstorm. So this deck is way to mana-costly to ever work well!

get the deck down to 60 cards! Then try 4 x Martyr of Sands and 4 x Proclamation of Rebirth it's easily the best life gain engine in the game! Dump the artifacts, all of them! Consider Ghost-Lit Redeemer and Kami of False Hope as they are solid additions in the martyrproc deck!

As interesting an idea as this is it simply wont beat control/aggro decks. It has too little in the way of creature kill to survive for long and the hand disruption is too costly to be effective against control. You should be running at least two more lands as well. Consider Damnation and Hypnotic Specter or even Stronghold Rats. Dashed Hopes would probably work better then stronghold discipline since only weak players invest more then three creatures.

4 Gaea's Cradle would make this deck illegal in every format!

Heedless One > Scion of the Wild
Centaur Glade > Supply // Demand

take no less then 8 months to pull your combo off one time. That's well over half a YEAR of doing nothing but playing this deck every day, 8 hours a day to stand a statistical chance (snowballs in hell) of pulling that combo off just once.

A manaless Ichorid deck in Vintage has several hundred times more chance of getting a first turn kill and costs less then a Black Lotus.

Just a little perspective! ; )

devioususer that first combo will most likely never occur.

Using the deck-u-later "a very reliable program" I tried to calculate the probability of your first combo. It had less then .005% liklelyhood of occuring if you had a 12 card opening hand, (unfortunetly it cannot calculate a probability of less then .001%. Alright lets do some basic math, if it takes 5 minutes to play most games and you want to pull the combo off once, if you played this deck 8 hours a day seven days a week it would

Since Phage is your win condition consider running four along with more control cards like damnation, cancel, etc.

"The Rock"? The real "The Rock" is a lot better then this! Death Cloud isn't very good try Pernicious Deed. Consider Troll Ascetic, Duress, Living Wish, and Treetop Village.

I like that it's a themed deck but it doesn't seem all that competitive

Do you actually own a library of alexandria/gaia's cradle they are very expensive!

I've mentioned Kotaki in less then half my posts including this one. How is playing the game well incompatible with having fun or enjoying the game? You assume I don't have a job? Interesting!

A pure artifact deck is as strong and dependable as daming a river with cotton candy!

One of the biggest problems with this site is a lot of the posters have never actually played the game in any meaningful way!
