Thanks! I think I'm going to try green next, but yeah, this is probably going to be the best mono-colored deck. We'll see!

That would be great, but Pyroclasm isn't in Standard right now. Oh, how I wish it was.....

I'll check out your deck when I have a few minutes to really give it its due. Thanks!

Thanks! Yeah, Overrun is never a bad call. I'll strongly consider it. I threw this deck together pretty quick so I'm sure some tweaking will be required. Thanks for the kind words and good luck with your own brewing!

You're right...long as you get Jest early it should be possible. Can't wait to try....

Can't believe I forgot BtE! I love that card and will miss it terribly when it leaves Standard again. Thanks for the reminder!

You inspired me to try out a Jest/burn combo:

I think Jest is a fantastic combat trick on its own, perhaps the best blue has had in years (including Ætherspouts and Ætherize and the like). But with pingers that hit all opposing creatures, you can immediately set those Frogs ablaze!

Yeah, still very effective, just not as brutal as I initially thought. That would have been SICK.

Oh dang. Actually just realized Staticaster doesn't work with Jest. The name of creatures hit with Jest doesn't change, just the creature type. Too bad. :-(

Jest and Staticaster is just plain MEAN. I love it!

As fun as the green stuff is (especially Hornet Nest for free Hornets!), I wonder if this might work better as a strictly Blue/Red deck that focused on Jest, Turn to Frog, and other similar creatures. Hmmmm...I may have to try that out myself!

Oh yeah, if I had them, I'd certainly find room!

Mutavault and Obelisk should make for ANOTHER stupidly powerful Muta combo for the next couple months.

Yes, but A.) I'd rather have the guaranteed forests for the Queen, and B.) I really can't afford them and STILL have yet to pull one from a pack.

But run 'em if you got 'em! Obelisk of Urd certainly makes it worth it.

Extra discard if he hits, and he's a big beefy beater at worst (which this deck doesn't otherwise have in the mainboard).

Bloodmark Mentor and/or Legion Loyalist? The first strike could be HUGE when you're having to attack every turn.

Okay, budgetized a few of my tribal decks. (I have 60+ that are a bit less budget-friendly, mostly because they virtually all run Cavern of Souls. ;-) ) Tried to narrow it down to tribes that haven't already been covered above....

Eh, I always do 61. Kind of become my signature thing in our play group. You could snip a Hopeful Eidolon to take it to 60 without missing much.

Silence! The best white control card in Standard. Maybe move Eidolon of Rhetoric to the sideboard and jam Silence into its slot. It's fantastic.

Thanks, NW! Appreciate the look and the kind words. For the description I channeled my inner WotC and tried to write it as they do for their Duel Decks. Got to be authentic! LOL.

This was a lot of fun... going to work on a couple more DDs now.

Thanks again and keep up the good work!

Ooooo, so much potential. Saber Ants? Symbiotic Beast? One Dozen Eyes?

A shame Swarmyard is like $8.00. A single copy would be SO awesome....
