Holy crap that's a freaking ton of combos. I'd say keep the 3 combos your deck has.

Wait, there is a way this could work.

Hmm ... time to petition the devs!

Also, hot decks tend to be based on amazing one-hit wonders, not balanced ideas. That's not bad, but building a budget modern deck that can kick some butt and is original doesn't seem to get the likes that it should.

What about corpsejack menace. =).

If only one could take control of a player for a turn ....

That's a beautiful way to run things!

Unfortunately, the one thing that cannot be had but must be bought I lack ... dual lands. Grr.

I miss the old cards. Sure, the art is a helluva lot better on new cards, but sadly, some of those cards seem intentionally overpowered. What ever happened to fighting against rich kid syndrome?

I do like Type II for keeping the prices of good but unnoticed cards down.

For this trick, all the great magicmaster requires is an ordinary VISA Mastercard ... =).

Shoot, thanks man!

Alright, enough with the lightning bolt suggestions. Everyone KNOWS it is the king of burn spells. =). But it is rarely used ... think of it like Planewalkers. A Planeswalker is superior to virtually all other cards, but that doesn't mean that I am going to run around to every control deck and suggest Jace, The Mind Sculptor.

I am truly scared of your Planeswalkers. =).

Just for giggles, you might want some archive traps sideboarded for fools with fetch lands. =).

Really? No tome scour? =). I would use it place of Mind Sculpt.

I like how you plan on milling an opponent so fast that his creatures don't matter. =).

Man ... that sucks. She made a really good deck! I was really looking forward to helping her on her Boros deck.

She's a Phoenix ... we stand a good chance of seeing her again.

Alrighty, hear me out.

You have a lot of mana ramp. A colorless creature would not mind a tri-color deck. And you want to spend that mana? On a massive creature with defender?

Colossus of Akros.

I made a similar mistake with Urza's Glasses.

I don't think Kazandu Blademaster is a highly recommended in a deck with no other allies. I would run Boros Recruit instead.

Lightning Bolt is hella expensive, even for non-budget.
