Heh heh heh Gal, if you read ever read this: Shizo is TWICE as powerful as Glean. Because Shizo returns the creatures TO PLAY so I can sacrifice cards on opponent's turn as well! Gleancrawler returns to hand. Who wants to recast and lose mana?

No, read the rules on the side: it'll still count as paying the 0 mana, and then people draw their cards.

I say, just find a way to get him in play ASAP. Discard/Zombify? He's a killer all by himself, who needs to work around his ability?

Sorry Bill, Rakdos destroys all non-land permanents, and that includes enchantments! I'm actually working on a Golgari deck based around Plague Boiler, and I find all my card drawing enchantments not working, because Plague Boiler destroys them too!

Other idea: ever thought Gigadrowse - Wee dragonaut combo? That'll knock 'em out in a hurry!

In my experience, Izzet eats mana like nobody's business. You need some sort of mana acceleration, if only from Mana Flare. Since you don't seem to fear using cards from legacy, I suggest inputting it. Can anyone else help this man with mana accel?

Basic lands Can be put in in any amount. It's the NON-basic lands that are limited. Look at other people's decks, they know the score!

Rather, this isn't so much a discard deck as it is a Mill (or milling) deck.

Paying four mana to draw a card is pretty slow. I saw a ripple deck with the new rats you could fill you deck with (Iforget it's name) as the main feeder for the Mortal Combat which was quicker and mono black

XX means you have to pay twice as much to get the effect of X. Say you got Warbreaker Trumpeteer. You'd pay 4 mana as 2+2, so you'd only summon x (2) goblins.

You have a xx cost for which I could show you?

Okay, but why Black Vise?

Bad. Why Akroma, why splash white? Why not consume spirit instead of Death Grasp in mono-black? And for what is basically a control deck (you will need to control as you play only one mana per turn) you have little enchantments/artifacts that ensure you don't get beatdown yourself with the few creatures that you could summon yourself.

I do believe anything that puts a -1/-1 until end of turn would also destroy an indestructible creature. Rakdos Guildmage can use it's ability to destroy a Stuffy Doll, for instance.

Sorry, no. With March of the Machines, your lands essentially become 0/0 creatures, and although indestructible, they are removed from play as a state effect. Can also kill "indestructible" anything that asks you to "sacrifice" it.

Ever considered Knight of dusk? Certainly kills creatures in a hurry! I also greatly recommend Paladin of Prahv. You need some manner of gaining life points if you want to win in the long run. Youthful knight if you want some more cheap creatures (which I think you'll need).

I know what you're trying to do, but the card you're ACTUALLY looking for is Goblin Sharpshooter. THAT will destroy his lands in a hurry.

Here's a goblin I never see in goblin deck, but that can be quite useful in clearing the board of blockers: Arms Dealer. It's a goblin, just doesn't say so on the card title. If you ever get a real strategy (more then, goblins with a few black removal spells), try incorporating. Everyone incorporate it in their goblin decks! I don't like it because of the mana cost...

Put some Cabal Coffers in there and Urborg Tomb (the land that turns all other lands to swamps) and you have yourself a deck!
