Isnt modern a little fast for this? I mean i think with damnation it could be fine vs some decks, but the sidebard options in these colours doent really fight decks like tooth and nail and affinty would be able to beat this game 1 and 3.

Good idea though, but right now id say its more of a standard deck.

I wish i could play legacy, this deck seems super interting and not the most expensive (besides the staples) that ive ever seen. Hope that this goes well whereever you take it.

My guess is your SB is cards you want but cant afford.

Add cryptbreaker to that SB. Your maindeck is subjective, as its built from cards that you have avlabale and work in your meta.

I feel like with only 20 land you will get stcuk on three and never cast the acoloite to get your deck to go off.

Clooud thresher is your most narrow card, so i would say cut that for two more land. Probably nykthos shrine to nyx.

My suggestions could easily not work, please don't feel like I am telling you how to play, your deck really does show your own personally and I understand if you want to leave it how it is. You know so others can look at it and maybe alter it to suit them, but use it as a jumping off point. Like northy's budget series. :D

The main problem of the deck is the fact that it can't oneshot from your hard or graveyard, meaning that people will often see what your doing and stop you. The two drainers deter people from removing your board or even single threats as it costs them life and gains you life, making them weaker to other players. You seem to have already thought of this with butcher of malakeir. hurm... In this vein I would also say try and find room for dictate of Eribos. It also deters people from removing your threats and allows you to combo off as people are more likely to leave you alone even if you have a threat.

I have a sidisi deck that relies on making hard to remove evasive blockers and gaining life until I can deal 30 damage to everyone in a single blast from my hand or graveyard. (as people don't normally care about those zones as much in EDH, but really really should)

I mean, same could be said of manaless dredge. I like it. :D

So. you have some great cards in here. freaking love them. you also have some weak ones and arnt making the most of some of your creautres.

i would take out muderous cut, go for the throat and ulitmate price, and replace them with laughish, abandon hope and blaspmous act. I would replace brawlers plate with darksteel armor.

I would replace carelhorde worm and preist of urabrak with blood artist and Falkenrath Noble

I dont think it can, probabaly just a frist build by a casual player. We have all been there though.

Your a bit of an asshole about it, but your deck does seem intersting. How often do you get strangler to go off?

Dark horse! Both of the visions and the slight of hand are the only really expensive bits (aside from land but thats agiven). Might be worth investing in this...

Seems slow, multilayer house though, attacking you is hard and the longer the game goes on the harder it gets to kill you. Also you don't get that many aggro decks in multilayer. You look a little weak to oneshot decks though.
