After looking around I realised the only real replacement is stonehewer giant. he is far too slow foe this deck.

I think I asked this question on another deck, the reply was something like "I don't have anymore bolts"

Do you think you would ever take this into esper? I mean vent and the new hero's downfall seem like they would really help this deck.

Well I mean I have a modern deck that I have been working on for about three years, only recently did I get the last few parts. I agree with you that money is an issue but if you keep connected with your local players and draft about once a month you will eventually get the cards you need. All I can say is, trade aggressively. People will beg and plead with you if you have a good card but you have to hold out for what you want.

Ohhh. Ok then, with no green those cards are your best options.

No! We all start somewhere with the cards we own. The best part of deckbuilding is honing a deck till its the best you can make it. often I find the process of this far more exiting than the result!

I can see this being a pain the arse. I also like your SB, from what I can see your meta must be much like mine.

So this is your take on 8-rack? I like it, but I don't see it beating the original... but I also don't see it loosing too hard to anything elce.

Good job.

Have you thought about a Ruinous Path to the mix? Taking out thornbow.

I would run it instead of the elf. I mean it wreaks control as it kills ugin and lategame its also a 3/3 creature you can attack with.

Storm isn't even played that much anymore... they should unban song for a while just so people understand the power of storm.

I agre with the above, 3 flame 3, doom, 3 languish seems better. especially with the draw from the charms.

Ok so I get most of your creature package. But I think your thinking too agro, You need silvergill adapt in here or your going to run out of gas way to fast, so id take out triton shorestakler seeing as your merflok are going to be able to attack and not be blocked anyway thanks to island walk.

This allows you to get rid of the reach though mists and add some spell pierce to stop your opponent killing your best merfolk.

apart from those 8 cards, I agree with this deck. I mean you do want a/ether vile but meh, that card just costs WAY WAY too much.
