I'd say put in the blessing over two strikes and two spikes?

I love retrace! thanks for making a deck around it. :D

Don't forget about drakmore salvage, even as a two of having a land you can dredge back into your hand for retrace is kinda fun ^-^.

Also seeing as your playing magnivore you could work in faithless looting? Its a cheap card that allows you to pitch retrace cards you don't need to dig for land to cast the ones you do, and maybe even add land to the bin for worm harvest! The best part is if you feel magivore is big enough already you can flashback the card to draw again! :D

Greetings and good luck northy.

OH just to say there is a guy called Zaklax13 on this site doing a deck series "modern on a budget" witch is really informative. You said you don't play constructed much so maybe you two could work together to increase the scope of the decks on a budget series?

Have a good one northy , keep on being awesome.

I'm guessing the Pegasus is this decks *mascot*, because your wife is fond of those graceful flying horses? He is the only part that could use a power boost...but the only card with a more powerfull effect is vryn wingmare...and that doesn't really fit the deck. So I guess sungrace is the best choice :D

I think I saw that build on channelfireball. It looked impressive! After testing this deck did...ok.. but I think the control variant may be just a little better.

Perhaps your suggestions will push it over the edge...?

~You are indeed correct sir, archangel is really good in this deck. INFACT there is a whole new build with her in it and Elspeth as the top end. Channel fireball did a really good youtube video with that build.

This is my take on it and after a bit of testing... it seems that its just not as good. Bit it is a bit faster....

took out all the spears, the fabled hero and reduced the evangel. Added knight and more valour.

This is true, but would that mean that playing the charm is still viable as getting the coloured mana would be harder, and that is his only red card....

I agree with this. What's the likelihood of the midslaver, ruins combo going off in this deck? ...it does take twelve mana. People don't really play tron in my playgroup.

I took out two spears and added it, thanks for the headsup! What do you think of the change?

I thought it would make it too slow and also it's a casual deck, I'd recommend trading into them once they rotate. I'll alter this deck then to take out the cliffs . :D

Complain all want you got Abbot and firecraft you lucky little.... Duck...

Here's my stab. I also suck arise at mtg in general so feel free to laugh.

Also if you can play Abbot turn two. Play Abbot turn two. The effect isn't worth waiting for in constructed, it's not worth it in limited either.

Such a great idea! Making a budget deck that can function on its own. Then adding the upgrade cards at the bottom. you sir are awesome.
