Raise the Alarm is easily the best card in this deck. There are enough anthem effects that Spear and Ordeal are redundant, and overcosted for what they do. I dont think you understand that the point of this deck is to make tokens, and dropping the cards that ACTUALLY MAKE TOKENS lowers your threat density in favor of cards that just make their removal stronger. Decks like this do not win on the back of 2 5/5's, they win because they make 15 3/3's and invalidate all of the removal your opponent has that doesnt wipe the board.

hexproof is more relevant than 3 toughness
2 phantom general, 1 white sun's Zenith, Devout Invocation, and Nomad's Assembly all seem fairly weak
I think Intangible Virtue is more important than Honor of the Pure. you should reverse those numbers, or run them evenly split. other than that, list looks good.
it looks like a budget token deck lol. theres only so much you can do, i suppose.
I ran this in one local tourney, went 4-0. I also have a very similar list built on MTGO, but I dont have Liliana, Batterskull, or Marsh Flats on there. I dont think there are any terrible matchups, but control can be tough, and anyone with the sense to be running Illness in the Ranks might get a jump on it, but thats pretty rare. Izzet Staticcaster out of the board can be troublesome as well.
here you go:http://www.mtgvault.com/ninjastyle612/decks/bw-tokens/
ill see if I can find mine
Vault is still probably better than whip. there isnt much value to be whipped back in the creatures in this list.
you cant whip back tokens, and there are cheaper ways to give lifegain. Burn can outrace a lot of decks, but Tikens can be just as fast, and most competitive lists run THoughtseize and Inquisition mainboard, which leaves most opponents in topdeck mode. BW Tokens wants Vault of the Archangel for lifegain purposes, not Whip.
BW tokens is better in Modern than Mono R Burn, and RW Burn and RWB Burn both require a $250 mana base to operate smoothly.
you could also run Knight Captain of Eos instead of Holy Day. its a bit more expensive, but its a recurring fog effect, if you have a way to make additional soldier tokens.
that comment was destructive. Strionic Resonator has no place in a token deck, and this is not the type of token deck that Growing Ranks is good in. I am aware that this is budget, and being budget does not mean you need to have bad cards. this deck needs +1 Souls, +1 Raise the Alarm, +4 Gather the Townsfolk and +4 Spectral Procession, not Strionic Resonator and Growing Ranks. I get that theres something like a $20 limit on these silly decks, but the thing about BW tokens is that it can be a VERY real deck for about $50, and a downright competitive deck for about $150. by far the cheapest "real" deck in Modern.
the mana base in the modern event deck is atrocious. and Strionic Resonator? Really? What triggered ability would you be copying that it makes it worth wasting 2 slots?
Spectral Procession is better than Captains Call, and Raise the Alarm should be in every token deck
I am actually very blunt in real life, and most people actually appreciate it. I dont know how THAT post is the one that set you off...that seems fairly tame, but whatever. As I said, you may not like my delivery, but my information is usually pretty solid.
the plan B is Tarmogoyf, which contrary to Mobb's claims have won plenty of games on their own. Valakut decks typically run a few more mountains than this (13 in most cases) to avoid that happening. sometimes youre just going to draw all your mountains, then you have to rely on the beats.
Im blunt. Deal with it, or don't. I don't care. The fact is that before any real trash talking occurred, I was simply explaining. It wasn't until you jumped in talking about something like sleeping with dicks in rulebooks, or some utter nonsense, that shit got argumentative. Look at it like this: someone who did not know the interaction learned how it works. Could I have delivered the information more politely? Sure, but I don't care about your feelings, and if you're too sensitive for the internet, kick rocks, we don't want you.
This is one of the main reasons I landed on RW Burn for GP Minneapolis last month, and it paid off for me.
this deck is not too slow, you are. Im beyond over this. Sleeve the deck up and actually play it, and find out why youre wrong.
