which is exactly why Vial is better. you dont need to be all in on it. Instigator is fine, but it is not even a comparison to vial.

on an empty board, sure. but you have an opponent. they typically will have something to say about it.

Blood Moon would cripple most opponents, and they typically do not expect it game 1. There arent a lot of mono colored decks in modern....Burn and Fish are about it.

what about infinite creatures attacking tells you that you would need a second combat step?

in a goldfish world, yes. in the real world, where your opponent wants to attack you? not so much.

and I would argue that its money you do not need to spend, and it does not improve the deck enough to do so, and as previously stated, any damage you take makes this deck worse.

I agree with Clawz, and I do think that anger has a place in Modern, but it is VERY clearly not twice as good as firespout. Modern is about utility, not about being afraid of one deck.

is this a real question?

Firespout has more utility. the pestermite player does not have to wipe his own board to kill theirs. Anger is not even close to twice as good.

in what way do fetches help n this deck? you would have a valid argument if Windbrisk Heights was a plains, or if the deck was running Mistveil Plains, but neither is the case, and there is no need to run fetches in a deck with a mono colored mana base.

unfortunately, this deck looks like it wins more than it does. Its not very competitive in the current modern meta. Some people have tried adding red (myself included) for Norin the Wary, Purphoros, Lightning Bolt and Lightning Helix, and that model is a bit more consistent.

something you can add without adding a color is Genesis Chamber. the interaction there is very good against decks that run only a few creatures.
