I'm on your side, mate, that's why I'm saying put some single-target cantrips in there! Vines of Vastwood is also a good choice for protecting and buffing all your golems.

Precursor Golem lets you pull off an Ancestral Recall imitation with cards like Bandage or Irresistible Prey.

Thanks! I had fun coming up with it (and laughed evilly when I discovered painter's servant). You're likely right about not putting in the beastmaster's. This is a very tough decktype to tweak with all the different goals you need to accomplish (tokens, mana, the right cards in hand). I got a bit frustrated making mine and ended up putting together a new decklist ("Kuldotha Polymorph") that's more of a straightforward, reckless charge to the polymorph combo. :P

My friend has an incredibly aggravating Tim deck that also uses Curiosity and Sigil of Sleep. Instead of Lightning Greaves, though, he uses Pemmin's Aura so he can pay U to give it shroud or to untap it. If this deck gets into a tight spot, you might end up with a lightning greaves stopping you from enchanting your creatures. But you get the haste and low mana cost in trade, of course.

Thanks for your comment on my defender deck, I've replied to it on that page. I'm not sure I have much critiquing to return the favor with, since these decks look quite well made!

I commented on this one because I like how different it is from my multiplayer strategy. I have a Phelddagriff EDH deck (not on this site) that stalls by keeping the current underdog alive with diplomacy and warm fuzzies until I can swing in and win with general damage. I have to admit, painting a giant target on yourself is much ballsier. :P

Thanks for the input. =)

At one point during construction I had both of those walls in here as well, but decided I'd rather have more card draw. That said, I'm not sure why I took out Muddle the Mixture, which can transmute for the Battlement. I should probably put that back in. Once I get one battlement, I should be able to go through my deck quickly enough that I'll hit other battlements or rites of replication. I haven't had any problems getting blue sources in sample hands, but I'll think about it.

I won't be able to make a physical deck of this until at least july, so I have time to experiment. I'll try:
-2 Blue Sun's Zenith
-4 Jungle Patrol
+3 Muddle the Mixture
+3 Jungle Barrier

Went a silly route because I love my opponent not knowing what my morph creature is.

See updated description for edits. Somehow I was convinced that Garruk's Companion was a vanilla creature... modern Magic power level still trips me up. XD

I didn't like Horobi until the cube draft when I picked up him and Spikeshot Elder. Now I have fond, fond memories of him.

Hello, fellow mass polymorpher. I also have a RUG decklist ( http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=177303 ) with some differences in token generation (and a different combo brought out).

I decided against the zendikons and living weapons because I wanted more bang per spell (multiple tokens, or an additional effect). But having a lot of inexpensive token generation means you'll have spares to chump block / mortarpod / eldrazi-sac, so that's another way to go.

I would recommend -2 kuldotha rebirth, -3 gelatinous genesis, +2 see beyond, +3 beastmaster ascension. That way you have an alternate win condition as well as a more reliable way to deal with drawing your creatures. (Multiple copies of Mass Polymorph are dead cards also, so see beyond rarely hurts you)

Unfortunately, concordant crossroads has been errata'd to read "All creatures have haste", so they'd lose the glyph buff. Let me know if you have any other suggestions, though. =)

Go ahead and make it, it would probably be better than this. I never play monogreen creature decks, so I thought this would be a good chance to experiment. Reliably getting out multiple Petroglyphs would probably be much more powerful, though.

Joraga and Vigor don't really fit the theme, but I don't have any great ideas for what to replace them with. Kazandu Tuskcaller?

Grozoth! Get him into play and you get to fetch all your inkwell leviathans and other grozoths.

Ahahahaha, I wasn't expecting this. Very cool. An easy way to survive would be dropping a Glacial Chasm on your winning turn.

You've got lots of tutors, so making it a 1-of is a good idea. You just don't want to have it in your hand unless you've got a non-stifled leveler out.

Get all the creatures and tokens on the board you can, including Mirror Entity and Atogatog. Give Atogatog unblockability + shroud (Whispersilk Cloak / Veil of Secrecy). Use Mirror Entity (or the Velis Vel spells) to boost your creatures' power and make them changelings so Atogatog can eat them.

Of course, no complaints if you get Mirror Entity + Hero of Bladehold instead. ;)

Thanks! I'm looking forward to July when I have the time to put together and play some of the decks I've been making.

Uh, that was poorly worded, it just won't save those creatures (the only creatures with >1 toughness already have persist).
