Yea I was gonna say so myself. This is pretty much Legacy Commander. Causal decks have no chance in the format sadly.

I'm not saying it doesn't work with token decks but I feel like speed is more important.
I wouldn't agree, if anything it might be best to run Intangible Virtue. Viggy and for 2 less. Sure he doesn't get a creature out of it but I think this would be faster.
Or if you drop their toughness to zero with cards like infect/wither, other -1/-1 counters, or other effects that give -x/-x (like toxic or a dismember ect.).
I'd up your lands to at least 22 and add in some Sacred Foundry for your Nacatl. Romoval would be nice to add.
For those that want to see a version of this deck with Reforge the Soul I have put it up here http://www.mtgvault.com/rolledaone/decks/reforge-the-thief/You can comment if you would like but I am just using it so I can work on both of these and see how they run.
Sure they don't have to. Everyone spends what they feel like. I don't like seeing people call a casual deck out because of it's price. They could have pulled most of their cards from packs.
What are you talking about? Your right he doesn't make 1/1s it makes 2/2 flyers. It has better defensive because of the of the buff. Sure the tokens don't get counters from sigil but to get envision I think makes it worth it.
Doubt it. Vistor is the best Sorin out of the three in my opinion.
Casual doesn't mean budget.
You know that Emrakul is banned right?
i'd recommend that as a sideboard. If he isn't playing against any enchantments, it would be a dead draw. I play with him and Ktrojan almost weekly so he should k ow the meta of a causal deck around our friends.
Normally if a newly posted deck gets 2 or 3 comments on it others notice and join in. Just ask a few of your friends who have vault accounts to give you some advice. I don't recommend going on other decks and posting yours.
If he doesn't have them you might as well buy them. Not like they will go to waste becauae he can swap them out to put in another deck later.
Fire Covenant isn't used for a field wipe in this deck. It is used on Stuffy where Toxic is used as a wipe and it doesn't deal damage, it deals -x/-x which would kill Stuffy.
How does this help his deck?
Not really great. That would slow this deck down even more. The shocklands give you a choice at least. Those refurge/khan lands have to enter tap.
To be fair this deck works off of both counters and tokens. I disregard the price and focus on the causal tag. seasons does a better job as it benefits his tokens, +1/+1 counters, and loyalty counters.
White Sun wouldn't be terrible and maybe some type of removal or add trample.
You can say that about any deck really. They both add fuel to his deck but without them it will still function.
