I had that in but took it out for Faith's Reward. For 1 more mana (and 1 less white) it gives me back all of my cards and not my opponents.

Orzhov Scion and Ogre Slumlord are nice. I think they are pretty interchangeable between Rotlung, depending on what kind of decks I might be going up against.I will see what I can take out for Circle of Despair, gives more protection.
Already in the deck, right above Grave Pact.
These are just some cards that I don't find add much to your deck. Juzam Djinn: 5/5 for 2BB with a ping effect each upkeep. Not bad but really not that useful to you. It doesn't have any type of evasion and can be chump blocked easy.Nantuko Shade: Good for mana dumping but again no evasion.Plague Sliver: I am assuming that your playgroup has at least 1 or 2 sliver decks. If not this isn't worth playing for the off chance you might play against a sliver deck. Now these creatures do have some type of evasion or static ability but I find them pretty lack luster and could be replaced for more of a utility creature or card. (I know they help support your black devotion). Stronghold CrusaderVampire NighthawkAlso Bloodgift demon could replace your Baleful Force, it is cheaper and could play politics in your group. Or just have both of them in.Deathrite Shaman is kinda meh in EDH but it can give you some graveyard hate (which if other people are abusing graveyards in your playgroup I would recommend you look for more cards like this, AKA Nezumi Graverobber or Scavenging Ooze, ect) Underworld Dreams for more devotion if needed. Whip of Erebos isn't too bad either for use of creatures.
True, when in doubt just keep with mono-black. This will be your best bet overall I think.
Oh and cards like Grave Pact, Dictate of Erebos could be useful to you too. If you decide you want to take it to another level of some sort. Don't try to cram too much into this deck of course, I am just making suggestions on possible ways to run it.EDIT: I found Rotlung Reanimator to be a much better option than Necro. They don't come into play tapped and they do the same thing but with clerics and not humans.
You should still be running Thrumming Stone if getting all those shadowborn out is your main goal. Also the newish B/W god could be useful to you. I think it is called Athreos, God of the Passage.
No die and sac effects like Grave Pact, Butcher of Malakir, or even Dictate of Erebos? These cards can be very helpful to you. I would also personally run up to 36 lands minimum since you do have green and ramp in this deck. Since you are going for a black devotion type EDH deck go with Necropotence.Erratic Portal would be great for you to return your creatures like Grey Merchant back to your hand and recast it. You can also do this to your opponent if they happen to tap out and can't pay. So this gives you a needed bounce type card.
I think you need some removal. In a 60 card deck you could easily go down to 16 or 18 Shadownborn. This will open you up for some removal or even some black control. Thrumming Stone is amazing in this deck if you are going to be running a lot of Shadownborns. I think you could remove the rats but that is my opinion.
I personally would run more ramp and get rid of some of the less powerful creatures. Having equipment might be good and then add in some enchantment/artifact tutors (Enlightenment Tutor). Double strike is very useful if you are going for a beatdown type deck. Also Primeval Titan banned.
I'd ditch some creatures and add in more ramp. You only have 33 lands, most decks run 36-40 lands total plus a few mana rocks and ramping.
You can remove some of your less useful creatures to add in a few mana rocks. This will help you speed up in ramping and get more counters on your general.
Ok cool. Well you should try out EDH/Commander if you like a more causal and different game each time you play a deck. Just a suggestion.
Is there a reason you are only running 1 of each creature?
No Urza lands?
That's why I was asking him because he can't use those creatures.http://mtgcommander.net/rules.php
Well first off who is your commander for this deck?
Worst part about playing magic for years is that a few common cards just pass right by me. I will have to see how this card would play into the deck. Seems like a good card to add if I happen to go into late game more often.
If Keranos is useful for you then by all means run it, again I don't play standard so I don't know what the meta is or what your area meta is. The changes look good, hopefully it will help you speed up a little bit and you can get your walkers out easier.
Well I don't play standard at all but I guess I would recommend something like this:-2 lands-1 Keranos-1 Mortars
