lol, ok there goes the deck. It sure was fun to play :) That'll teach me to properly read my cards after not having used them for ages :)

Ok I'll revamp the deck to white/red instants. By the way, the reason for taking a lot of 1x spells is because I play a lot against extirpate and haunting echoes. I think I'll leave blue in for card draw though.

what 19 lands and no way to survive the early game ?? Do you ever win with this deck or does noone play aggro anymore ?

I didn't want to mention reveillark because it will quickly dominate your deck and change it into a Reveillark deck. Don't take me wrong, I love that card.

I made a Sunforger deck myself and tested it yesterday, worked amazingly well. Check it out, it's called SunForged.

If these cards do not fit the colors you play you can use brainstorms to get cards from your hand back into your deck, playing brainstorm in response to the sunforger unattach effect.

what about this creature base

4 Lightning Angel
3 Azorius Herald
4 Mulldrifter
3 Galepowder Mage
3 Grand Arbiter Augustin IV
3 Nevermaker

drop the browbeats for card draw at instant speed so you can use those sunforgers to draw cards. Accumulated Knowledge, Inspiration or Carefull concideration to name just a few... You can also use sunforger as a solution provider by including a bunch of instants only 1 time. 1xboomerang, 1xextirpate, 1xMortify, 1xPutrify, 1xCryptic command, 1xcounterspell, (1xMystical Teachings would be funny, to fetch a flash creature like Teferi), etc...

why don't you throw in 4xOona's Blackguard for fun :)
I don't see why you would play such high mana cost arcbounds 4 times without mana acceleration (aside from the dark ritual which is more of a kick start then any help for your big critters).
I also don't see any graveyard recursion, which is what artifacts are good at. All I see is lots of arcbounds with no way to make the deck work.

looks to me like you just need aggro stoppers/delay. There are many solutions to control creatures. Damnation, tainted aether, portcullis, aether flash etc... The deck composition just seems odd to me. Why spellbook ?? Why spellbook AND Stronghold rats. Why Stronghold rats when you need to delay your opponents creature base ?
Teferi's Puzzle Box would be a killer and Propaganda could help you survive...

A far easier way to control creatures is using tainted aether, add sacrifice spells to that like diabolic edict, small pox etc... and you won't see many creatures.
For the kill I use Chimeric Staff and Phyrexian Totem as they they do not come into the game as creatures.
Playing it black-white is easier as well as you have better removal options like mortify and you have access to enchantment tutors like Enlightened tutor and the new Morningtide tutor.

- 8 removal works fine for me
- I removed the Souls as they did not really add to the decks agressive nature, I put in 3 watchwolfs. My creature base is slightly different with 2xGenesis and 1xTeneb.
- I play 22 land, mostly shockland like you. The land

lol, you really pimped it didn't you with those vindicates :)

I must say my first tests with my own version which is now only slightly different were insane, total agression. I often have a 7/7 trample lifegain doran kicking in turn 3 :)
cheers mate, awesome deck!!

PS: 2 pillars are safer for those birds and dryads. I added an Urborgh to my landbase.

Dismal Failure and howling mine in one list work against eachother. Use Feary Trickery or something instead. I like it though, it has potential.
Sculpting steels are wasted card slots IMO

Joande is right, you'll be eaten alive by any aggro deck and there are many of those around these days. If you build a mill make sure you can buy yourself the time to mill.
Removal spells and counters go a long way, to get really serious take damnation and maybe extirpate to break combos.

The blinking spirit is nice and probably the best creature in the deck. If you face an opponent with a simular removal deck the blinking spirit might be the only chance you have (if it doesn't get countered). I would put in white Akroma's and angels of despair rather then those lorwyn critters.

- hmmm, does this deck work on 14 land ?
- Do the Thran Dynamo's really help ?
- Does 4xUrza's Armor pay off ?

I played Arcbounds too and I'm curious why you made the choices you made ? In how many turns does this deck usually win ?

suggestions

- minimize the colors you play to 3 maximum (red-white-black is good)
- play low mana cost slivers (fast slivers) like sinew, sedge, plated
- lifegain is a good way to go, those essence slivers are good
- Necrotic sliver will help you remove stuff that would otherwise break your deck

non sliver spells
- 4xLightning Helix
- 4xGriffin Guide
- 4xMortify
- 4xPhyrexian Arena

against mass removal like wrath of god you can play Heart Sliver + Patriarch Bidding

A pure sliver tribal aggro like this is extremly easy to beat, the only thing you have going for you are those 4 Oblivion Rings. I guess all your friends are playing creature decks as well and non of them have figured out yet that by simply adding hivestones to their non sliver deck they will beat you every game, over and over.
And that's the non control way. Creature decks are the easiest decks to break, a simple ghostly prison or a well timed wrath of god finishes this deck.

Add some mana acceleration like signets, your first few turns are best used to burn anyway so to stall your opponent while your mana base builds up.

I would run 4xAethermage Touch in this deck.

analysis:

- Aeon Chronicler is a late game card draw engine, 2 times max
- Grand Arbiter Augustin IV, 3 times max
- Niv-Mizzet, the Firemind, 3 times max
- Jace Beleren does not fit an aggro deck like this, You'll probably use him as a howling mine, correct ?
- Chandra Nalaar : almost any burn card is far better, put in incinerate, magma jet, lightning bolt ... You can use the burn.
