I wouldn't even go as far as blue control, any control will do. Creature control, land destruction, discard, you name it.... It's a beatdown deck and the worst kind, a slow one with a very bad mana base. Even relatively fast type 2 aggro decks will eat this deck alive.

How do you win games with this deck ? I don't get it.

yeah, how do you win ?? :) LOL

seriously, there's only so much you can counter, and sooner or later your opponent has enough mana to get through your counters. Also there is always stuff that can't be countered like split second cards and the like. You don't really have a real kill in this deck. If you want to keep it cheap at least put in some Hoofprints of the stag.

seems solid enough aside from the fact that underworld dreams is your only kill, only 8 counters of which 4 are rather expensive might not be enough in some games. Looks very good though, good for multiplayer.

Looks ok, I'd swap Clinging Darkness, Altar of Shadows and Devour in Shadow by better removal spells like Sudden Death, Last Gasp, Assassinate, Eyeblight's Ending, etc...

How do you get 3 forests down to play Nacatl fast enough ?? A simple kithkin or goblin deck kills in 5 to 6 turns. With your mana base I don't see you putting up much of a fight.

you have no mana fix and your land is evenly devided, chances are very high that you won't be able to play any of your combos until late in the game which means you'll be dead against fast aggro and against control you don't have much of a chance in the first place because the deck is too easily disrupted. I really don't get why you play white in this deck. You can tab Omenreader with other cards, lets say a Viridian Longbow for instance would be a way better option.

hehe, I played it all afternoon saturday against various people and it won every game :) Played mostly against tribals though, elves, kithkin, goblins, treefolk, one boros deck and one burn deck where I was lucky to get my Darksteel collossus out rather fast together with a loxodon warhammer (burn that).

looking good and strong allround, well maybe a bit weak in the early game and as you noticed 3xdamnation might not be enough.

it would prevent redirected combat damage but not direct damage like burn spells and the likes there of.

another thing, you play dark confidant which puts a timer on your deck, but your kill isn't clear to me, are you going to beat your opponent to death with a few power 2 creatures before your time runs out ?
You've put a lot of expensive cards together but I fail to see how it wins games, it just disrupts a lot.

This deck must be really based on what your friends play because in general it doesn't stand a chance against most type 1 decks I play against. Have you ever played against a 43 Land deck (Manabond) or landstill. Your deck isn't going to do much against the likes of these decks.

very cool deck, might not be able to compete with fast aggro decks unless you can pull that pariah/sandskin combo but I like it. The new shadowmoor wither ability might screw up that combo in the very near future :)

Also you have 8 bounce lands, that's pretty much screwing yourself. The chance you must mulligan is quite big, opponents playing cards to bounce permanents like boomerang will bounce your bounce lands setting you back 2 turns, etc...

it's a nice concept that might do ok against aggro/creature based decks. The obvious weakspot is that the deck is based on the actions of your opponent. If your opponent doesn't play by your rules you have no alternative ways of winning the game and you'll have a lot of useless cards in your hand.
Cards like Loxodon Warhammer, Consume Spirit, Simic Sky Swallower, and kind of mill based strategy to name just a few will kill your deck.

it's much like one of those storm decks, half of the time the deck isn't properly shuffled and those key cards just don't seem to come, drawing through half your deck doing absolutely nothing.

intruder alert is lame, anyone can build a deck with intruder alarm (and it seems everyone does :). And who takes 4xTooth and Nail . Do you really want one in your starting hand, or worse yet 2 or more ?? Healing Salve is a bad card, there are far better options for those 4 card slots.

propaganda or ghostly prison might be more effective then Island Sanctuary.

Nice, the counters are very important against mass removal and I think you have that covered. On the other hand it will still be difficult against fast aggro with only 2 Sanctuaries and if it's a flying aggro deck (agressive fearie rogue deck) I think only your Judge of Currents might save you and even that I doubt. You will be forced to leave mana open to counter kill spells (fear sudden death).
I also see a white control deck with sacred mesa as a finisher do well against this deck.
