Some people benefit from discarding cards, and they have the ability to topdeck into bringing back large creatures from the graveyard that are hard to deal with when you have no hand. The shrieking affliction will kill them when your creatures cannot.

He could move Shrieking Affliction to the sideboard if he is playing against reanimator. Puts them on a clock even if they can push out creatures.

I know that Whip of Erebos is a better recommendation, just that Tymaret is a 2 drop and evens out the mana curve, and you can sac creatures you bring back with Whip of Erebos. Tymaret functions best with Act of Treason and the Whip which brings back a creature temporarily. I also heavily recommend atleast one of the shock B/R and B/W lands those will fix your mana curve a bit.

Replace Sphere of Safety with them in the sideboard- so you can add them in as you get them whereas you might not be using Sphere of Safety with so much burn removal.

4x Thoughtseize in the sideboard? They are coming up in the new set and they can force out a counterspell. Tyramet, the Murder King is a great card to run in Midrange and also Whip of Erebos has creature recursion from your own graveyard. Good combo potential with the discarding, and the lifelink goes hand-in-hand with the Blood Baron. Probably instead of Underworld Connections you should run Whip of Erebos and instead of Magma Jet maybe Tyramet? Just a few recommendations. Other than that, great deck!

I said in no offense and I said I wanted a cheaper alternative. I simply ask: Where am I hating?

Sorry more like turn 7 >_<. But IMO if you get good mana rocks (Gilded Lotus for instance) you can get the planeswalker on turn 5.

Nico Bolas can be dreaded to get out. Check out Jhoira of the Ghitu, she might be used primarily in commander but she can get Nico out as fast as turn 6.

$50 for a playset of Boros Reckoner. News to me it dropped in price, nobody likes good cards. Yeah I'll take your playsets of Boros Reckoners for $30 a piece. Obviously when someone says a card is too expensive then you consider the alternatives... how long have you been playing magic for? Nevermind that question. You're probably able to pamper your hobby with sufficient amounts of money.

*Cough* Well for those of us who live an affordable lifestyle if I'm going to be using a $30 a piece card then I'm going to use it for a Naya competitive deck that's going to get the most efficiency out of the card, not for a tribal deck with an incomplete tribe. This deck would only see casual play from me, although I'd love to see how effective it actually is. I don't mean this in any offense to the creator of the deck, I'm just saying I wish there was a more affordable alternative to Boros Reckoner.

Cool but Boros Reckoner is way too expensive to be using in a deck like this. It's cool but it's only gonna be useful in Legacy casual play, it's not the type of thing I would use for tourneys.

Very cool deck! I was thinking of something like this with Fallen Ferromancer but this is way better.

Instead of Perplex, Corrupted Resolve may be way better since the only thing you cam transmute for is the Rings or Pemmin's Aura. You have a more effective counterspell, as well as it being very cheap. Since you're pinging for 1 you'll always meet it's prerequisite one way or another. Livewire Lash instead of Memory Plunder, since Memory Plunder is an extremely odd card for this deck. If they target a creature with Livewire Lash equipped they automatically take 2 damage his/herself or one of his/her creatures do. Contagion Engine instead of Contagion Clasp? Since it pretty much gaurantees a field wipe when you proliferate it. Hope I help at all.

How about Skinrender or Incremental Blight instead of Blowfly Infestation, and consider Viper's Kiss and Read the Bones from the new set.

I have lost to it, I understand it's unenjoyable (And long, boring). But I suppose if you cast it successfully then from there on you basically win?

I've already outdone my budget, but I think the best plan I got is either
A. Mill myself out to win with Laboratory Maniac
B. Make my opponent mill out through various sources
C. Make my opponent unable to play by use of Mana Ramp + Capsize + Jin
For the mill myself out reason I have considered Enter the Infinite. Is that a good idea?
