Do you think gilder bairn would work in here? It doesn't really fit the theme, but if i had a mycoloth out it would be really good. I don't want the combo to get to complex, because then it gets unrealistic. Thoughts?

The utopias are good. I realized theyre a 0/2 thallid instead of 1/1, and have the additional mana effect. I don't have to use it, but if i need it, its there.

I did some versus myself playtesting, and the normal Thallids did add alot because i could start the spore counter production on turn 1. But ill try Utopia Mycon(s). Thanks for the suggestions again.

Could you take a look at my Bant deck? http://mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=92083

I like the big game hunter. With a self discard, you get a removal spell for 1, and a chump blocker, but if you're already getting tokens then you shouldnt be short on blockers, so its really a matter of whether or not you think you need the extra removal. With death baron all your chump blocker tokens have deathtouch, and grave titan has deathtouch by himself... so i'd say its a fair trade.

Instead of Nether Spirits you could try Nether Traitor. I like it becuase it keeps coming back, but you've got squee also filling that Niche. I'd also say its a fair trade. :)

I like this deck, haven't seen anything like it before.

I gotta keep the mycoloth. Thats the whole basis of the deck.

For a beater you could use Grave Titan (which also produces tokens). Thats an expensive card, so maybe not.

Call to the netherworld could be used as one of the 2 cards to activate Zombie Infestation and get back Death Baron or another black card that may have gotten discarded/destroyed earlier on in the game.

A card i use in all black decks is Sign In Blood. It adds alot of speed. Might be worthwhile for you.

I originally had Utopia Mycon in there, but i thought it would be counter productive to be taking 3 turns to create a token and then sacraficing it for mana.

I just realized that Contagion Engine's effect's cost is the same as Contagion clasp.... now i think it is a good idea to add.

Alright, maybe i can try it out without doubling season (which cuts the cost down by like.... 4/5ths? haha). Throne of Geth looks pretty cool, im assuming the 0 costs artifact creatures are to scar it to the throne? Can you sac the throne for its own effect?

Yeah, i thought Genesis wave would work, but i realized i'd need 8 mana to use it (at least), so you're right, to little too late.

I'm sorry, i read the effect wrong. Gilder Bairn is much better than Contagion Clasp. I thought that Contagion Clasp doubled the counters on something like Gilder Bairn, which would make Vigor overkill. Overkill isnt necesarily bad, but it does have a casting cost of 6. Stick with the Gilder Bairn(s).
-sorry.

I made a mono-white deck very similar to this, but i found 2 creatures to be invaluable (mesa enchantress and wall of omens i think). Check mine out if you want some ideas. Magus of the Moat might work in this deck too.

I was considering Thallid but i'm an aesthetic person so i cant stand playing with old format cards, so i went for Tukatounge. Thalids are inexpensive so if i buy this deck, ill pick some up and playtest with them. If theyre good i'll replace sprout(?) with them? Thanks for the suggestion. :)

You must be tired because the card youre talking about is wheel of sun and moon. Haha.

Originally i had Sprout Swarm because it can potentially get big, but i figured that i already had enough on my plate, and that i needed more focus. I also thought that the exact same effect (but cheaper) could be done with Sprout + Isochron scepter. Then i thought i needed more instants/sorceries to make the most out of the Scepter so i added fog, but i think people wouldn't want to play with me if i kept getting a Fog Imprinted Scepter every game, so i dropped the scepter. What would you suggest i replace it with?

I thought that my deck was already top heavy, and i don't have much mana acceleration (there isnt much room for it either), for contangion engine. Instead of proliferating twice, i could just have two contagion clasps out.

I'm torn between starting this deck and the Bant deck i have posted (if you could take a look at that, that would be awesome). The bant seems to do better, but this one is more spunkier! I'm shocked that Doubling Season went up in price so much, so each deck would end up being the same cost. Which should i do?

I was thinking putting in iscochron scepters, but when i play with those people don't want to play against me.

This is too topheavy, try to eliminate some of the high casting cost creatures. I think the way to win with this deck is have a mycoloth out with a doubling season and unsummon and recast it.

Instead of Llanowar Reborn try Oran Rief, the Vastwood. I would also switch simic growth chamber for basic lands.

I'd go for contagion clasp over Gilder Bairn. Its cheaper to play, more potent, and harder to destroy. With a contagion clasp out, that makes Vigor unecesarry. I think Experiment Kraj is too much.

I forgot about that! D: I used to do that with Wrath in my treefolk deck since Timber Protector makes them indestructable.

Not sure, they all seem like good cards. You're just gonna have to playtest and see what works best. Just think when you lose, having what card would have made you win, and which cards weren't quite what you expected or didn't do what they were supposed to. When you win think about what can be streamlined, what could be improved on. OR, which cards are more fun to play?

D: no way! Not unless you're DESPERATE for land, but you shouldn't be beacuse you have Knight of the White Orchid and endless horizons. You use it on your opponents stuff, and actually it pairs well with Knight of the White Orchid because your opponent will probably have more land than you after you play a Path.

Swords to Plowshares is similar, but that one you could use on yourself or your opponent.
