It may come as a shock to you, but I'm also a successful Goblin player (V)(@,,,,@)(V)woopwoopwoop
I have no business playing aggro, not because I'm bad at it, but my mentality does make it hard for even me to think about going back to being an aggro player after all the control and graveyard-based decks I've done.

Again, I'm not Sure, but things have gone so long without answers, and I'm bored with nothing better to do right now.

I personally am against a LOT of the cards on the banned list for modern, but there are reasons for a lot of it. In light of what I've seen of the format, more so from play experience than my designs, I think it would make more sense at this point to just lift a few bans than ban more power cards.
I never thought there was reason to ban Punishing Fire, GSZ, or that they banned both Ponder AND Preordain. It made no sense, and I think they know they went overboard with it. Perhaps overcompensating for the original banned list.
I personally think the banned list could use some trimming, or refining at least, and one of the few cards I'd suggest going forwards to ban right now is Spinter Twin.

I know I'm not Sure, but this has gone long enough without anybody answering.

Coolest? Praetor's Counsel, it was ridiculously neat.
Most unusual? Landrush. It confused me for about a week that it worked.
Best? I can't remember what you named it, but your Oath deck was amazing.
Worst? Invoked Pain.
Least Favorite? Your Enchantress deck, I hate those things with a passion.
Most surprising? When you busted out your design for Affinity. I never expected affinity could beat Reanimator, even after the Mystical Tutor ban. You astonished me man.

It's not stompy, Unicornsnot is right about that, but it IS a weird take on mono-green aggro.
I do like Dawntreader Elk, it's kind of like a backwards costed Diligent Farmhand.

So I've done a bit of testing(as much as I could barring school), and while it can play without one or both of Studies, it's just not as smooth.
The thought of playing more Studies is startling in how unappealing I find it, that I HAVE tested more extensively, and it is not as pretty as one would hope. It's like you say, there's nothing to trim that doesn't negatively impact the overall design.

I really do still like the idea of running Darkblast, but as a sideboard card against some of the more threshy control decks, smashing down a Delver, Image, or a Bob can be a huge hit against them.

A lot of people are with you on the Bloodghast thing, but it's something I run due to personal preference/experience. It wasn't worth it in standard non-LED Dredge, that I have to admit, but in LED Dredge I've always wanted at least two.
For a while I had a version that ran the full playset of them instead of Ichorid, but more and more I find they work better as just Narcomoeba 4-5.

Darkblast is a card I've had a troubled history with in Dredge, it has won me some seriously sketchy games, but there are just as many times where I'd rather have that extra Thug so I could dredge a little deeper :/
The manabase is a bit light, it's just I can't really find anything I'm willing to cut right now. I thought about scratching a copy of Careful Study, but I haven't tested nearly as much as I would like.

Sun Titan is amazing in Dredge, but most people who don't play the Vintage version with him and Bazaar of Baghdad just pass him over. In some games when you're playing a slow dredge he can win a game from bringing back an Undiscovered Paradise for Bloodghast fuel, or by popping up a LED so you can flashback Faithless Looting.

In a version less focused on Dread Return I think GC could be really really good, but right now it's such a powerful move that I can't get behind dropping the idea of busting out FKZ or Sun Titan. If something happened that actually bothered me about the idea of running those two, I'd probably start working in that direction actually. I'm hoping that the leave it as is though, since I personally find Dredge to be no worse a deck than any Fish variant.

And I'm all for the ban on Grave-Troll in Modern, I'm not sure I like the ban on DR though. It makes sense at the start of the format, but I think a slow rolling Dredge, like with GC, could be really neat in the format.

Not many people around this site seem to care about the tournament version of the tribal format, it started as a house type, and it'll remain one to me.
I'm a DCI rules advisor, and not between me and all the judges I know could a single person who actually plays the bland version of tribal like that, unless you count my Merfolk deck.

Awakening Zone might as well be a tribal enchantment in this deck, and Adaptive Automaton is a jack-of-all-tribes, so I'd say it hits the twenty mark just fine. Also, a lot of people don't go by twenty cards for a tribe anymore, mostly just fish and goblins nowadays I'd wager.

No, I finally got my settings to work! And I look forward to hearing more of your drumming man, it's brutal as hell, but it's cleanly executed. Increasingly a rarity these days, so it's nice to hear somebody with 'touch'.

Oh jeez... Doing that with misstep involved just means so many cards being dumped on turn one that it's silly.

Yup, but not for myself oddly enough. My friend who plays standard really enjoys zombies, so I made a five minute design for him, and this is what I came up with.

I will say that I'd probably play something like this if I did standard, just because zombies are always fun.

I've been toying around with the idea of using Gracecrawler, but I'm not sure how I feel about running it with a manabase this sketchy :/

That's true... That's one of the main reasons I like Overextended better right now, I play SlaverPost, and various nitpicky control variants :D

It takes everything I hate about Zoo(other than 'Goyf), and it accelerates it pretty much. I can't say I'm not impressed with how powerful this is Joe, it's surprising that it's so close to just being old extended with the selections you've made, and yet it beats so much face.

Your band is growing on me a lot dude, and I can see how you would run into that problem in garage situation, your drumming is brutals man!

I have yet to meet anybody in my life who can actually play a Kazoo, it truly is a difficult and underrated instrument. http://www.myfacewhen.com/i/450.jpg

Liliana turn one is pretty brutal, but I still like turn one Thoughtseize better actually.

And this... This ladies and gentlemen is why I still play a pair of Trinket Mages, and a pair of Chailces in the main list when I play Modern.

I might not like the format(unneccesary bannings made the decision for what I play in it, I don't like that), but this I can dig.

I have a few alters I want done, but it's just not worth the cost to me unless it's something I KNOW I'm going to play no matter what. So basically Doomsday lol

I'm actually not using Bloodghast as a replacement for Ichorid(note: I still run two copies of each), it's more or less as Narcomoeba 3-5. In LED Dredge it works better this way in my personal experience, but a lot of people still run three Ichorid alongside a playset of Narcomoeba.

Winds of Change is a neat little option that can act as many things, I can make a combo player dump the hand they've worked so hard to sculpt, I can use it as a turbocharged draw spell to Dredge like crazy, ect. It's a handy tool when you get to learn how to use it right.

And I've always wanted a pimpsuited version of Putrid Imp for Dredge, but Stinkweed would probably be more epic. Feel free to do as you please so long as you keep it work safe man, unless mods/admins say otherwise about something, I generally say go for it.
