I've never been able to take Clearwater seriously, it's a San Francisco group singing about the south... I never got that. I like me some swamp though, Tinny McClain is amazing, Stones cover of You'll Lose A Good Thing, ect.
I'm more about some of the harder stuff in the late sixties to early seventies to tell the truth, UFO, Scorpions(yes, I love the Schenker family), Sabbath, ect. Blue Cheer, B.B. King, and Robert Fripp all get VERY high marks in my book as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=95VoQ6639pI Gypsy Ball from OutsideInside is one of the defining tracks for early heavy rock/proto-metal in I'd say.

I'm a fan of the Beatles, but when it's just one of them not so much a fan. Nowhere Man and Think For Yourself off of Rubber Soul are my favourites.
I'm more of a Monkees person, or stuff like Cream.

Some stuff I've recently gotten more into is hardstyle, they don't lie when they tell you that you can do ANYTHING to it. I recommend if nothing else you check out this song, it's kind of more darkstyle, but I likey the macabre feel to some portions.

Yup, I kept eyeballing a few cards for a reusable bolt, and another set for discard outlets, so masticore was the optimal choice :D

Raven's Crime is something brought over from my old Crucible Pox list, the high land count just kind of happens naturally in these designs though.

And I don't really play Modern after all the bans, I was the guy who played Punishing Zoo. GSZ, Knight of the Reliquary, card quality, ect. I did a lot of experimenting and it and SlaverPost had been my favourite decks in the format.
I can see Raven's Crime being powerful in Loam, it's a powerful move in Legacy, so I'm pretty positive it should be all that and a bag of chips in Modern.

Oh God why... I dunno why, but that song rubs me the wrong way in so many ways. Might I suggest this as an alternative?

All the joys of the Bert face. And yeah, it makes a lot of sense when you think about, but it does require a bit of the ol'

Thanks for the compliments theweust! Especially the bit about being nob-kitschy, I agree that it's hard to find a version that is fully functional. Still not sure mine is fulled fleshed though.

I have in fact hardcast the Masticore believe it or not, between Lake of the Dead and Mox Diamond I have had games where I have more mana than I know what to do with.

Oh dear God I'd love to be able to imprint one of the poxes on a Scepter, that'd be insanely brutal! I'm expecting my group just to call it Poxtraction, so far they haven't had much experience with the different versions of it, just mine.
They have had moments where I have had the level of facepalm you're talking about though, but usually for nothing magic related.

That's one of the best things about "Iso-Pox"* to me! It doesn't really need the wallet/aggro crushing beauty that is the Tabernacle, bit could use it yeah, but I'd probably actually drop the Pharaoh for it if I did. It's not enough use for me to justify it in this deck though, I have access to cheaper tech that does the job just as well in the frame.

I don't play Bitter Ordeal because it occupies such a dangerous slot on the mana curve, sure it can make somebody scoop if you bomb them, but it's just not worth clustering on three in my opinion. Bombing somebody requires an INSANE amount of mana, or shifting more to something like your suspend setup, and I just don't think it's worth it when I don't have as much as an aggro window as PAL. I open myself up to less second guessing when I pox with this design because I don't play Bitter Ordeal as well, and that makes the learning curve significantly gentler than PAL for a kicker.

And this deck is less of a building nightmare than you'd think, unless you try and splice it with a more aggro design such as your PAL. More or less you just have to think of this more as a Pox deck than Extraction, which sounds a bit backwards looking at the list sometimes, but when you get into it this deck really is a Suicide Lockout.

Hmmm, but do I get to use it for free since I'm the one who did the deck? :P

I suggest to study it you make it, much like I say about anything else. It was originally a bit of a joking experiment, but now... This deck is one of my favourites, and this new list is simply BRUTAL.
The mingling between a Pox list and an Iso-Seek list is really natural if you just look at it like it is, you have to be perfectly confident in your ability to play both styles, and sometimes you'll be doing it at the same time.

I'm flattered by the fact that you want to study this man, you're kind of the king of Extraction.

And what do you intend to copyright? PAL?

If you think Razormane with the Pharaoh is a weird change, you should look at what I just did to the sideboard :P
I honestly never saw any reason why a Pox shell and Iso-Seek couldn't coexist as a deck, it's just another manner of locking your opponent out of a game. It might not be as fluid as a normal Iso-Seek design, but it is shockingly powerful I must admit.

Also, why did I never run Winter Orb before?! With a playset of Wasteland and Rishadan Port it's silly how well it works

Again, I'm going to take over any questions on here that amuse me.

I'd probably go with Jin Gitaxias if they didn't look like they would be able to deal with it in time, Iona if it was mono-coloured, or Empiryal Archangel, or Sphinx of the Steel Wind if it's GWx. This is all depending on what they have in hand post Thoughtseize, it's really a judgement call you have to have a bit more infor to make.

And I doubt you'll be able to top Batman69, Awz?, or Jimmy. Have at it sport, see if you can't knock yourself into the upper echelons of trollhood.

Oh how I love that idea, in my group when somebody starts something like that up we call it Cuban Missile Crises. Everybody is so afraid to act that all we do is start stockpiling :D

And I hope to hear reports from this deck, PAL is always interesting for both sides of the table.

Commented my initial three ideas, if I come up with any more I'll drop a line. Like I said, I haven't worked with Extraction in a while, and once you situate this I'm looking forward to tinkering with my Iso-Seek Poxtraction again finally :D

I say either drop that second slot entirely, or go for a second Fatespinner. Maybe be a dick and go for Sen Triplets, but that'd increase the cost of that slot by 0.5 instead of reducing it by that much if you went with Fatespinner.
Those are the three best options I can see.

It's true, I do design my control to have a bite, but mostly because it's become a necessity these days. Judges get on to people who just drag it out nowadays :|

And I'll take a look at the deck man, I haven't worked with extraction in a while... It's like Christmas all over again!

I standby my thoughts of the era when I had Mystical Tutor; Reanimator kicks storm in the balls. Repeatedly. I've even been racing TES with Dredge nowadays man, it might be time to find a new target for the hate finally. Early on I hated storm because I didn't know how to stop it, but after playing it as much as I have from both sides of the table, I find Maverick to be more obnoxious.
