how a draft works is that each player gets 4 packs, then chooses one card from those packs and passes the rest on. then they each pick one card from the cards they got, and then pass, and then so on, until you get your original cards back. then you go for another round of picks. that's how a draft works.

I'll narrow it down to 40 cards

that's the idea. I guess I should sideboard Helix pinnacle if I'm doing that

these were all the cards that were given to me by the deck challenge. I never said that this guy had the best judgement in the world. If I had a choice I'd take out the red and black

The mana curve is the main thing. I need a higher forest to mountain ration because most of these cards are green.

I agree with your decision on the ascension. it really isn't needed. however, the ruinblasters get sideboarded. other than that thanks

I would assume landfall running Knight of the Reliquary

if you really want the name to work for the deck, use Amulet of Vigor ad Quest for Renewal

run 4 so that you can tap them 4 times before they come in

I would add anti-creature counters, just in case they have protection.

halimar depths. I'll put both in there. reason being Omnath needs a route through the defenses.

also remember that wolves are my secondary win condition, so I can always go with those if they decide to go with removal

because that is only one of the purposes of MTG Vault. The other is posting an idea for use later. Better to know that it sucks now than to spend $100 on the deck and THEN learn that it sucks. see? it saves time and money that way, and gives good ideas to anybody who bothers to look at your deck. People actually post decks they own, but I think that previewing your deck before you make it is a more helpful strategy.

allow me to explain the rules to you, since you don't know what EDH is. 100 cards, singles of each card, and one legendary general which determines the colors of the deck.

anyways, it's a sliver deck. no matter what else you put in there, it's still a sliver deck. same concept, same win condition, same everything. I'm not impressed by slivers because they are slivers.

how good were the decks you were playing against? anyways, take out the ram-gang, oona, and cultbrand to put more copies of your creatures in.

the mountains are for the burn that dots the deck. I don't exactly feel comfortable putting my win condition into a creature. but the elemental is a good idea, though

swamps don't start with a C. other than that, I assume that you're going to discard the gatekeeper. try using cry of contrition

jace beleren for more draw power and card advantage. that's the thing that disturbed me about this deck.

use some small chump blockers and mill cards like hedron crab and cathartic adept for the early turns

something to do is to narrow it down to a singular theme and go with that. if you're going to run Clarion Ultimatum, then use bant colors. run 4 of each ally, and use rite of replication. to be honest, I'm not exactly fond of 5 color allies, because there's not a theme other than allies.

I would add in Omnath and use manaramp for a more powerful hydra

lol nice one! 7/10 from me. no suggestions here, other than maybe bloodchief ascension for more damage just in case you don't get the combo out.
