I always go for 18 mana lands. That way I have enough room for everything I need

It's a different mill combo, I'll admit. but still, if I'm gonna be impressed, go for T2 mill. speaking of which, check out my mono blue mill. It was a deck challenge, with every card in there costing 2 or less

what I like about what I did here is that it has good enough mill to be lethal, yet it has enough control to hold its own. all for under 2.

That would work also, but I like keeping it mono blue, just to ensure that I don't get mana screwed

looks pretty similar to mine, only mine has blue for Mist of Stagnation. check out my EDH decks when you have the chance on my profile. I've got Dragons, Life Gain, and Control.

You probably want more than one win condition. Try going for life gain since you have the colors.Feledar Sovereign would do nicely, this being about control. +1 to cancel out the douchebag who hates EDH

to be quite honest, if I don't want to use the extra turn, I can always just tap for mana. my enchantments are there for control purposes, just in case my mill doesn't work as well as it should

halimar would be the better idea. I was going to use ponder, but I didn't want to sacrifice my creature count and countering ability.

wow nice that is great. better than most elves I've seen. another card you might want to try is Quest for the Gemblades. Also, I would lessen the mana base a little. I like to go for 18 lands tops, especially with low cost cards like this. check my contribution on the forums

actually keep 2 concerted effort, and get rid of 1 mystic and 1 armament master

-2 Pariah's shield, -6 plains(I always go for 18 lands), -4 concerted effort, +3 conqueror's pledge, -2 stonehewer, -4 oblivion ring, -1 basilisk collar, -1 marshal's anthem, and -1 whispersilk. that should leave you at 60 cards, if I counted right. I'm sorry, but you just have to part with some strategies and insurances

Shivan Dragon is one of the worst dragons out there. Seriously, there are others that are much better. try going with Flameblast or Voracious dragons

I made a new EDH just recently. Dragons like yours, only multicolor and based on legendary dragons. take a look when you have a chance.

if you use spell-based burn, I'd use Chandra Ablaze instead of Nalaar

comes-into-play effects don't activate because of phasing. only leaves play works. sorry.

The lack of creatures and blue cards disturbs me. blue really helps in these kinds of decks
