Start out with 36 lands at maximum and remove more when your deck changes.
You can get aggro down to 16 lands.

To make things complex there are now several cards covering the same niche.
Augur of bolas, mission briefing, snapcaster mage and watchers of tomorrow.

I discovered the watchers when researching the mill-decks played this year.
It lead to a post about uro-mill.

By not appearing after the set release it's a pretty stupid way of bribery ;)

I've covered all of it in the uro-mill I've posted.

I got a new conspiracy, alfred.
R&D is testing out new cards in advance.

I follow other mill-decks pretty often and I found a new one used 5 times on tcdecks. It played a mix of cards that would be supported a lot by modern horizons when that set got released.
Many details of the deck points to its owner knowing what would be released in advance.

The player shows up, play 5 times, and when the 5th victory is a 4th place the person just vanishes, and when modern horizon shows up with cards that clearly fit the deck, the user does not reappear armed with those.

I'm also known as a fierce hater of visions from beyond!
I've argued many times over and over that it was only good back when snapcaster mage were in mill.

Here's my argument for cutting it in your deck.
Stream of thought is a multitool for millers, and I explain why in my "stream of thought mill" in your deck it would be the first card to mill the opponent, you decide what to reshuffle into your own deck which means you can set up an early mission briefing exploiting the grave at turn 2. By reshuffling mill you increase the odds of drawing mill, so in a way stream of thought works as a bad visions of beyond, but it is wondrous at many other aspects.

I can see that mission briefing is nice with visions, and could actually be the replacement card of snapcaster in mill, which means that the key to mission briefing is to see what the past used snapcaster to revive. (The answer is surgical extraction, extirpate, archive trap and glimpse, and visions of beyond.

I think I will replay visions of beyond, to study the interaction with mission briefing to see what is best to use with it.
"Visions of beyond versus stream of thought" yeah I'll have to do that one ;)

For now just consider the idea, and I will run the tests and report my findings.

It could also be due to a bug. Sol ring is usually restricted.

I've been toying around with mill recently and have almost settled on a maindeck mix of surgical, extirpate and relic of progenitus.
The relic would be a nice way to kickstart your scheming symmetry, as you will draw your millcard and then mill away what they drew

If I didn't think of it last time, adding relic of progenitus to the maindeck will be a way to draw scheming symmetry when mesmeric orb is in play, just do it at their end of turn.

Stream of thought can kickstart the creature side of startled awake, giving you emergency blockers.

Also, replacing tome scour with 4 stream of thought will enable you to play increasing confusion from the grave faster.

You might want to take a look at my
"Stream of thought mill"
Where I use stream of thought to boost sanity grinding.
I'm working on breaking the 4 turns limit needed to break aggrodecks like affinity, humans and merfolk.

Nice build.

I'm currently testing the interaction between stream of thought and sanity grinding.
About 50% of the time stream of thought acts as a tome scour through adding a reshuffled card to the mix of the 10 top cards.
You have enough blue symbols in your deck to actually make use of sanity grinding. In a version with less blue symbols I've measured it as milling an average of 8 cards, with the lowest score being 6 points. The card would work at a higher average in your build if you can get the mana to generate UUU at turn 3. (Pretty doable with your mana)

Stream of thought have the added effect of adding cardadvantage to your deck, and deciding what to reshuffle will allow you to fish for more mana or more mill depending on your needs. (This has a very low impact during the first 4 turns) lategame the card gains much more impact.

The cards to remove to make room for these are tome scour and mind grind.

Interesting take on the deck.

I'm currently testing out stream of thought, to find out what it can offer mill.
I made a page "stream of thought mill" where I walk through the advantages of the card.

I usually play 4 archive traps and 3 chancellor of the Spires so I am also testing out sanity grinding, and the interactions between stream of thought and sanity grinding often makes stream of though behave like a tome scour.
(I use paperstrips and proxies to keep track of reshuffled cards. My constant measuring tend to damage real cards)

So your sideboard is what you have in your collection?
Tireless tracker should be main, even if you only have 1.
