kinda dont want a late game with mono red though. chandra is a weaker planeswalker, and flamespeaker wont be much use against a goyf or geist. if you want to have a longer match i recommend splashing. i see decklists with green that have vexing shusher, goyf, domri,.
I have seen white splash with ajani vengeant, path to exile, lightning helix, kikki, resto angel

is this something you want to be competitive? not far off at all. heres my .02c
-1 anger of the gods
-2 pyroclasm
-2 chandra
-1 valakut
-2 relic

and,

+4 rift bolt
+4 shard volley

if you went less on the creatures, say cutting mogg fanatic and prophetic flamespeaker, you could add in searing blaze and skullcracks

Just had an amazing turn 3 win against pod!
I played first, and drew 2 mountains, 2 goblin guides, And a lightning bolt, rift bolt, share volley.
Turn one- play a mountain, play and attack with goblin guide, he reveals and draws a verdant catacomb and goes to 18. He plays verdant catacomb, cracks (17) and gets a forest, plays birds of paradise.
Turn two- I draw another goblin guide, play both of them, then swing all. He goes to 11, draws two lands off triggers and discards one (his hand was at 8). His turn he plays a razorverge thicket, than taps out for a pod (9)
Turn three- I draw a vexing devil. I swing 6 with goblin guides, than play shard volley ftw

solid. I think you can cut to 19 lands, your highest mainboard cost is 2. sideboard I think blood moons, and either guttural response or vexing shusher.first deck I posted on here-

Lol yeathe challenge they are doing now is " decks under $6"....obviously not competitive, but hey I guess there are a lot of casual players here... I am specifically making this series of decks to be beginner competitive decks for someone who can drop at least $100 now, hen plans to put at least $50 a week into it

Slippery bogle and daybreak coronet would help greatly, and spider umbra's totem and mor would be very useful

Cool, although 6$ is a bit too budget for my taste.. I'm making several >$100 modern starter decks, let's get competitive!

Yes I had to cut some goodies(like snapcasters) to keep it under $100 not as easy as you would think to be competitive under that
