If you have them yes! they can def help to find the sources you need. if you start to build a sideboard i would add rakdos charm, darkness, path to exile, gutteral response, anger of the gods, from the ashes is great against scapeshift or decks with minimal basic lands

Just ran this at FNM with the new decklist listed above. Went 3-1, only losing to scapeshift. Unfortunately he drew much better than me, I mulliganed to 4 in match 1 and 5 in match 3.
Other matchups:

UR twin- (2-0 W)
Match 1- I win roll, draw 2 mountains, 2 rift bolts, goblin guide, lightning bolt, eidolon of great revel.
I play goblin guide, he flips remand, goes to 18
He play scalding tarn, cracks it for an island, plays serum visions. (17)
My turn- i suspend both rift bolts, swing for two, he reveals and draws steam vents. (15)
He shocks in steam vents and passes. (13)
My rift bolts come into the stack from suspend, he remands one and takes 3 (10). I play a mountain, now at three, and play lava spike (off the draw), lightning bolt, and then attack with goblin guide (2). Second main phase I suspend the riftbolt he returned to my hand.
He draws, then scoops.

Game 2- I sideboard in 2 vexing shushers and 3 gutteral response, taking out 1 eidolon, 2 blood moon, 2 ball lightning.
He takes play, I draw vexing devil, goblin guide, lightning bolt, arid mesa, mountain, lightning bolt, lava spike.

He plays scalding tarn, passes.
I draw gutteral responwse, play goblin guide, swing, he flips deceiver exarch. My end step he cracks the feth forplm vents (17)
He plays an island, plays serum visions, then bolts goblin guide.
I draw another lava spike, play vexing devil. He takes 4. The I cast lava spike (10)
He plays scalding tarn and passes.
I draw a mountain an play it. Ik he has deceiver exarch, so I cast lava spike and pass, during my end step he cracks for a mountain and plays deceiver exarch. (6) I respond with two lightning bolts aimed at him.

The other matches were a titan/amulet combo and junk control, all 2-0!

bloodcheif ascension is a good addition. this deck could really use 2-4 of shard volley and dark confidant. then rakdos charm for creature heavy decks (SB)

Hey spark is solid. When my burn started out it was budget, the most expensive card was grim lavamancer. Slowly added in vexing devils, blood moons, goblin guides, and ensnaring bridges

Eh a lot of decks run them, as far as burn goes the lands don't matter since the manabase is low, and its worth waiting for rift bolt, 1 cmc for 3 damage is great even with the drawback. You don't have to like goblin guide, but it is the best one drop red creature ever, even the "drawback" can be an advantage, if its not a land you get to see his next draw

i would cut some of the one-ofs in here and go more whips, more lingering souls, some lightning bolts, more young pyro's. the b/w sorin. then shock lands, and if you can afford them the zendikar fetch lands
