Out of curiosity; what types of situations make you decide to sideboard in Wurmcoil? I see deck builds with sideboard card decisions I sometimes don't understand, and I like to ask.

I'd sideoboard Vexing Susher. Instead of 16 forests, you should run 4 Wirewood Lodge, and maybe drop another four forest for fetch lands. You really don't need mana in an elf deck, they generally produce plenty of it on their own. What about Wellwisher, Timberwtach Elf, Seeker or Skybreak, etc? There are plenty of Elves you could be using in legacy that I think you would benefit quite a bit from. Another really cool thing you can do with Elf decks are running Archdruid, Preist of Titania, and making room for four copies of Genesis wave. Within 4 turns, provided you get the right opening hand, you can flip practically your entire library for some really devastating effects.
Uh, Tempered Steel?
Blade Splicer is a very solid card for white based aggro.
I would definitely try to make room for Mirran Crusader.
I would run Marsh Flats over Terramorphic Expanse and replace Orzhov Basilica with Godless Shrine. Then you can pull every land in your library with the fetch lands. I had a deck similiar to this once, only it was focused more on spells that were both black and white in order to exploit Nightsky Mimic. I used Sunbeams spellbombs to help build my life as well, they may be beneficial in this deck.
I'd run 4x copies of Knight Exemplar, without question. I'd also run student of warfare. Once you have an Exemplar, and ramp him to his final level, he's a total force of nature. You should also consider 4x copies of Mirran Crusader.
I think your mana curve is a little high to only be running 20 lands. Have you considered adding Moorland Haunt, Seachrome coast and/or Glacial Fortress?
I'd mainboard Dismember over Mental Misstep. The Misstep's can potentially be dead cards in your hand, and you'll never encounter a situation where you won't be able to use the Dismembers. It looks pretty solid, although I'd build up a sideboard. If you would be willing to check out my Hero Blade deck and leave me some feedback, I would greatly appreciate it. Cheers!
I really like this deck. Although, I can see it having a very hard time against aggro decks. Even if you sideboard in Vapor Snags game two, a creature based aggro deck would probably give you one hell of a time. I would suggest adding Norn's Annex to the sideboard at the very least.
Why mainboard unsummon over vapor snag?
I'd much rather mainboard Beast Within over Naturalize. Doing so will allow you to destroy any possible threat you don't want to deal with. Sideboarding Naturalize would be a better option, then you can swap it in game two if you really need to deal with artifacts/enchantments specifically.
I didn't check the comments, so I may be reiterating here, but; Provided you can afford/trade for them, I'd add Eldrazi Temples and an Eye of Ugin. I'd also add one copy of all of the titans, excluding Kozilek.
Grand Architect allows you to tap an untapped blue creature you control for two colorless mana. So if you drop an Architect and have two other blue creatures(bear, lord, image, etc) you can tap all three of them and play a Wurmcoil turn 3. :D
This deck is awesome. How come you didn't build a sideboard? If I could recommend anything for the sideboard it would be something along the lines of: 1x Phyrexian Obliterator 3x Black Sun's Zenith 2x Go for the throat 2x Dismember 1x Surgical Extraction 2x Doom Blade 4x Memoricide The Addition of a playset of Memoricide to the sideboard is the one thing I would like to stress the most. Game two or three, sideboarding in a playset of Memoricide can completely crush your opponent. After a game or two it will allow you to understand exactly what you're playing against, and it gives you an incredible countermeasure to things you don't want to see. I hope this post helps, if you have the time and would care to comment on any of my decks I would greatly appreciate the feedback and advice. :D
Why are you running Mirran Mettle with one artifact in the deck?
" people generally dislike blocking infect creatures because of wither" With this logic, you should be running Ichorclaw Myr over Plague Myr. I'd also run more Inkmoth than just one.
No sideboard? Only two swords?
Rancor is awesome in Infect. You can also run fetch lands to thin your deck.
Add Ornithopter, Steel Overseer, Signal Pest, and I'd say Inkmoth Nexus, but that might break the budget.
