Its all about the meta you play in. Mine is very fast and alot of Valacut and MBC not really alot of Caw Blade so that works for me. Alot of Elf and RDW as well.. so I have to be careful in what I play. Also some Myr decks or jank and well.. and a couple of infect decks. So mine is a very fast meta here in SC. I don't know what yours is like

ok, with that statement you just told me your an old school pro control player. You understand it and the mana war ( more mana=you are winning even if you are both at teh same life) and the jace wars. I can side the dpeths for those mono green and black decks. Seems good. Also for Big red that will be coming up. Split lands to me are too slow like that (the ones that gain you one life) they seem to just slow down the tempo. what do you think about Due Respect. thinking about adding that for more draw power and slowing the tempo or whomever I am playing
I don't like the Stoics...too costly and you HAVE to keep 3 mana open. Try Deprive it might set you behind one land but it is still a good card. Also, Have you thought about fetch lands to help thin the deck and get your mana base. Mash Flats and Scalding Tarns might help alot. 4 into the roils..I would just run 2 of them and run some kind of jace. those are ny opinions. Otherwise like it..

see, that is what i'm thinking too..but the issue with lands... if i get rid of the two depths..should i just main 2 tech edges then? or maybe a fetch or 2
Tech edges are meh at the moment. In control vs control it is whoever has more mana but I can only see them good in the mirror match atm. I can put them in side. I chose depths for more deck munipulation and it seems good. I kinda agree on teh days 3 should do my good or maybe 2 and an oust and a condemn. Still in the air
maybe add explore for ramping and more card draw. also either lead the stampede or genisis wave or green sun to get more out of teh deck
also added 4 squad hawks instead of the sunspear shakaris.
Ok, so I took out the Armor and the outfitters, gotta keep the fetchlands thank you fenway for explaining it :) added 2 more swords and etched champ...seems good with this deck if and when I have metalcraft. Added jouneys in as well over days. thank you for the feedback what do y'all think about it now

extraction is good only if you know what you need and only against certain decks. Valacut its amazing. Tech edge, extraction, boom gone..where are those titans...go for or doomblade blame i win. against caw go you have alot more to deal with, hawks, gideon, stoneforge, not really that good here. needs a little card draw and stall i think...maybe. An early game or a late game genesis wave being played against you seems like uhhhh unless maybe due respect. 2 mana draw card and all permanents they play come into play tapped....including lands. its a set back early game and you draw.
