i might consider suspension field for the sideboard. cheap way to answer big threats and still triggers prowess on your turn.

with trostani and obzedat in play, every time you flicker the council you gain 7 and drain 2...just seemed pretty good

basically, it pumps with wild defiance and negates a kill spell if they try to stop a creature

this looks pretty solid, but i have a few suggestions. tragic slip would be pretty useful to take out early mana dorks, as well as thalia...who could give you quite a few problems. garruk relentless is also worth considering, because he can act as removal for weenie creatures and can completely stall the board with DT wolves if left unanswered.

besides having 5 wolfbitten captives bewteen the maindeck and sideboard, this looks pretty killer

its surprisingly consistent actually. the deck has so much dig, i can usually find the pieces i need within a few turns, especially if i keep a hand with one or two of the combo cards

Thanks for the ideas. Inferno titan is in there as an alternate win condition incase i dont draw into the combo. dropping a titan on turn 3 or 4 is still pretty backbreaking for most decks to handle. I do like the ponders though, so i might drop the increasing confusions for those, since i still love faithless looting.

I made a similar deck, but with red as a third color. Red lets you play Priest of Urabrask, which lets you make infinite mana with a lich and summoning in play. Red also has more answers for grafdigger's cage: manic vandal and ancient grudge being the best choices. Here it is if you want to take a look:

myr sire gets 2 triggers off the falkenrath noble. he can also tap 2 if he has a mentor out to draw 2. I like this deck though. Vs a control deck, you might want to consider Black Cat from Dark Ascension. still triggers the noble and mentor, plus you make your opponent discard one for only 1 black mana.

grafdigger's cage from dark ascension shuts down most graveyard based decks like dredge and reanimator

glint hawk idol helps to play around the 5 board sweeps im playing. figured it would be nice to have a threat that didn't die to doj, slagstorm, or bsz. it also helps with metalcraft for the rebuttal and galvanic blast. just an idea though...not sure if it'll work. ill have to playtest with it

i thought about that...but i'm only running 11 creatures, so i didn't think it would be worth it.

i actually just dropped the dungroves. he's just too much stress on the mana in a 3 color deck. i like where this is at right now, but we'll see after some playtesting

thanks :) heartless summoning, mox opal, sphere of the suns, and simulacrum help to get around the mana curve problems. forgemaster also gets out the fatties at the top of the curve

looks pretty nasty. only thing i could suggest is crucible of worlds instead of wheel of sun and moon. you'll be able to re-play your ghost quarters much more consistently that way.

drop a bloodline keeper for the last stromkirk noble. you really need the full set of that one-drop, especially since a lot of the aggro decks out there are human based. looks good otherwise
