I like it, would be most frustrating to play against. :)

just wondering but with all of the different decks that you have how do you remember them all to update with new cards?

just sitting here amazed. :)

I would have to agree with you Dedwards.

first upkeep and only 1 doubling season in play it would make 2 tokens because the doubling seasons only triggers off the effect that makes the token not the token itself entering the battelfield. now on the 2nd upkeep you would still have just 1 token entering but it would be 3 doubling seasons out there now so it would multiply by 3 at that point (or how ever that works). but again the effect that makes the token only happens once so each season would only trigger once.

well that's my limited understanding of how those work anyway. :)

I just wanted to say thanks for taking the time to help me understand. I totally agree that artifacts would seem to benefit the most from a 2cc reduction since the whole CC is colorless. With the sample hands that I drew you indeed dropped your hand in turn one or two most of the time. But having the right mana for what was in your had was an issue a lot. Not sure if HS really sped the deck up any or if it was it's natural speed. (not good with building arty decks) but I think with a few tweeks this could be a really strong deck type.

wish you the best of luck in figuring this one out, if any body can do it I'm sure you can.

I really do enjoy all the decks that you put together. they all have a lot of thought and substance to each and every one. this one doesn't seem to be the best work, sorry to say but it feels like your trying to force HS to work and it just seems off to me. I'm sorry I don't have any idea on how to make it work, maybe if you had a couple spells in here to destroy it once you got some good creatures out so that they get buffed back up? unsummon maybe?

I'm sure that the consept of this deck is just lost on my limited knowlage of the game though...

I like this build, it seems really cool but I'd really like to see it in action to understand the full concept of how it works and see just how fast it really is.

Fluffstar: you are most correct about the extra mana being produced.

The question is if you can pump chilling shade with the extra mana produced. "(S) can be paid with one mana from a snow permannent."

with that being said, Extraplanar lens and Bubbling muck make the land produce an extra mana, since the mana is coming from the land it can be used to activate Chilling Shades pump effect.

Nirkana Revenant on the other hand just adds a black mana to your mana pool when you tap a swamp but this extra mana isn't coming from the land itself just being added to the mana pool from her effect. so this extra mana wouldn't be able to be used to pump chilling shade.

or at least that's what I've put together ot of looking around and reading the cards. But as always rules are just more like guidelines anyway. My group wouldn't care where the mana came from or if it was snow covered or not. we would still let you pump the crap out of the chilling shade. :)

Keep up the great work Wumpus, looking forward to seen some new decks from you and Sure and everyone else for that matter. :)

how does the extra attacking angel token interact with the exalted and added effects such as from Rafiq of the many? both state whenever a creature attacks alone they get this, but when you attack with Geist of saint traft it's putting out a 4/4 angel token that is also attacking along side him. wouldn't that cancel the effects out that you get when you do attack alone since there would be 2 of them now attacking? or does this fall on the order that the effects resolve?

since your mana curve is so low I would agree with Savage and Blood here. Cut 2 Plains and add 2 Grand Abolishers. just a thought for at least play testing it. :)

Hey Sure, I'm not trying to be picky or anything but why did you deciede to put in Bitterblossom?

I just noticed the "Tribal, enchantment, faerie" to boost goofy and I guess for some 1/1 flying defense/offense?

really nice deck btw

Also just a thought but if your going to run B/G wouldn't Melira, Sylvok Outcast be a really great card to help break HS? I could be wrong but wouldn't they counter act each other?

Sure: if I'm not mistaken and I could be. but aren't you an extraction legacy player with a close to unbeaten record with the deck?

I personally appreciate the long and explanatory posts that you guys give. It lets me understand what’s going on and why you chose the cards you did and why they are important. I’d like to think it makes me a better player, but who knows really. LOL :D Keep up the great work guys!!

Mercedes: thanks for the answer on that. I kept looking at him and looking at him and could just never understand why he was such a good card to have out. for what ever reason it just didn't make any sense to me. :) hope you have a great day.
