This looks really great, but isn't it a little low on lands? I thought landfall decks were supposed to have more then 24 lands in them...

but really beastly deck!! :)

really killer deck man, this would stomp most of the decks that I have. they are very weak against flying creatures.

once I get the rancors in here (3) I'll have 2 slots open. I was thinking of filling that with primal bellow to posibly couple with the rancor on a timbermaw larva or really any of the guys with trample. :)

the deaths shadow combo works with Melira, Sylvok outcast.

Gaeas cradle first turn wouldn't be the best choice since it only gives you mana for how many creatures you have out. since you wouldn't have any out it gives you 0 mana...

you have a point with the oran rief but with there only being 3 in the deck the chances of that being the only land out turn one isn't very high.

I was wondering if you and surewhynot or anyone else could take a look at my attempt at a trample deck. I didn't know I was a card short until I put it up here today. it's super fun to play but very very inconsistant and I could use some help making it run a bit faster and all that good stuff.

the combo I'm talking about uses Melira, sylvoke; Scarland thrinax; and kitchen finks. I'll see about posting it up here soon.

I actually made a version of this (not on the site yet) that uses an infinite loop to pump Scarland Thrinax and gain 2 life each time you do it. Just need to fine tune the deck to run better.

thanks, I have the reassembling skeletons in here to use with the Fauna Shaman so I can pull other creatures that I might need but not lose the creature.

what's the best resource for the ruls on EDH? it sounds like a really fun format and might make FNM a bit more fun but I haven't really been able to find much on it.... any help would be great. thanks :)

how fast do you normally get to activate Beastmaster Ascension?

Really nice deck, not sure if you cought this but if you have the extra mana you could use Mycoloth, devour as many of the little guys as you can an then cast Fresh meat and repleace the little guys with 3/3's. really nice combo but kind of expensive for 9.
