Hm. Evil combo would be Magister Sphinx but that puppy is expensive and has all the colours you don't run ... speaking of that, why don't you play white!? You would have access to many, many spells that give you opponent life but ones that are considerably better than Stream of Life. Seriously now, if your opponent has 5 life left, you would have to waste 6 mana and a card to heal him to 10 life just so you can burn him with Second Rite ... would be easier to just burn him for 5, right? Here, have a look at those:- Reward the Faithful- Wall of Shards- Swords to Plowshares- CondemnShock => Lightning BoltLighting Strike => Punishing Fire (helps counteract the life you give)Blaze => Disintegrate, Fireball, Red Sun's Zenith, Banefire, Devil's Play, I don't know, anything is better than BlazeYou don't run any artifacts (well, Cathedral) nor enchantments but also no artifact or enchantment removal. And this is for multiplayer, right? Fracturing Gust is what you want.
There wasn't much I could do for you with these restrictions but I tried my best.
Meanwhile, all colour combinations are equally well combineable. I don't know what to suggest since you didn't put any restrictions - if you want general ideas, why don't you just browse this this site for the decks other people have built!? You said you are a fan of standard - the name for that format is quite fitting because there are a lot of standardized decks out there and MTGVault is full of them. Just pick a guild like Boros and the card names will guide you what to play with.
Actually this game was very exciting. It doesn't matter how many goals they score, a game can be exciting or boring wether it ends 1-0 or 4:2. About the uglieness of the german players: I always thought, to some degree it is required to be ugly if you are a professional football player :) While some are indeed not good looking, others are quite handsome. Ask your wife if she thinks Hummels is ugly :)
Pulse of Llanowar definately not. Rowen - maybe if you aim for multiplayer but not in a 1-on-1. But be aware that both cards are horribly outdated. Chromatic Lantern and Courser of Kruphix are cheaper and yet better (but come with a price tag)
Yeah, later. First, let me go watch my country becoming world champion :)
Read Collective Voyage again: Each player searches his library for X lands where X is the TOTAL amount of mana paid. So, if you payed any mana, it doesn't help your opponent if he doesn't pay mana, he will at least have to search for whatever you payed for. So, this is a forced search for 2 mana.
I don't care about likes. Nobody should - it's a meaningless number. All that counts is comments with suggestions and critique. This site should be a place where decks are forged and ideas shared, instead users treat it like Facebook and start popularity contests. But I don't think the devs can do much about it. "Social" media is like cancer.
"but i can't find cards that make opponent search his own library. "Ahem. - Fertilid- Maralen the Mornsong- Collective VoyageAnd there are more cards where searching is a *may* but it would be a huge drawback if he doesn't. For example- Boldwyr Heavyweights- Noble Benefactor- Veteran Explorer - Arcum Dragsson- Oath of Lieges- From the Ashes- Path to Exile- Ghost Quarter
Since having more than one Wall of Mulch is redundant you won't need 4 of them. So maybe one Shieldbearer and one Axebane Guardian?
That person probably didn't check if you are the same person as the deck you were commenting on.BTW, you can also add a "help" tag to your decks that you want people to help. But I still think that the people wanting help outnumber the people that are willing to help other by huge margins. And I also sense that only a select few will actually use the tags as search criteria.
I usually put cards I consider adding in the sideboard, that way I can't lose track on them.
Wall of Mulch lelts you sacrifice Walls to draw cards. You'll get two cards out of each Wall of Blossoms :)
The Vial also grants you a card!
A deck description would help ;)But if that's the case this deck is lacking lifegain. You run a few but the cards that damage yourself outnumber them greatly. Things like Wall of Reverance, Gerrard Capashen and Angelheart Vial would serve this deck well (they also provide other useful abilities besides life). And regarding cards that support soldiers I would concentrate more on things like equipments, enchantments and so on rather than lords since creatures are swiped regularily in EDH. Things like Veterans Armaments and Mobilization. Oh and get Elspeth Tirel.Oh and Thumbs up for including Jinxed Idol, I love that card and it combos fantastically with Darien, good job :)
I would replace the Shield Sphere with Wall of Mulch. Gives you the necessary draw power in case you haven't drawn a Genesis Wave or in case you are low on mana. Also I would replace Devil's Play with Comet Storm which is much more flexible (and an instant, too).
In theory the "Unloved" tab is the place where players can ask for help. But to my experience, most useres here just flock to the "Hot" and maybe "New" decks like moths.Maybe it would help if "Unloved" is the default tab instead of "Hot".
Always glad to help veterans back into play! Suggestions have been made, check it out, should run smoother and faster now but the theme has been kept intact. The deck is now Modern, though, and you have to invest a buck or two.
You said this could get modern legal, right?I can see why you would get overrun by weenie decks (and also modern midrange decks since the new creatures boost each other tremendously if played in tribes or when flocking to block mechanics). So, main focus would be to make this baby faster.* Astral Cornucopia is way too slow. Dictate of Karametra is not only too slow, it also helps the opponent. Mana Bloom is okay but has no other synergy with the deck. I would replace the Cornucopia and Karametra and optionally also the Mana Bloom with a mix of the following:- Overgrown Battlement- Sylvan Caryatid- Birds of ParadiseThey have 3 advantages: 1) they are faster than your previous mana accelerators, 2) they are creatures and therefore can be sacced later to your other cards, 2) they can also block (BoP in a pinch but the other might even survive)* I would replace Treasured Find with Eternal Witness. She may be one turn slower but provides a warm body to sacrifice (and can chump-block). Additionally, she doesn't get exiled and could therefore be further used by Pharika.* Abrupt Decay is your removal spell of choice if weenie decks are so common. However, in a more diverse metagame with a healthy dose of slower decks, I would not recommend it. (and it is an expensive card - wait until it rotates out of Type II in a few months)* I don't see Serene Remembrance's use in here. It shuffles creatures back into your library (and Vraska isn't a creature!), what is that worth? If you want to reuse those creatures, why not reanimate them? You run black, that should be an easy task. Or, what I would do, replace Serene Remembrance with more creatures, preferable some that are also able to come back or bring others back:- Stinkweed Imp- Pit Keeper- Reassembling Skeleton- Undertakeralso very good pick for your deck:- Lotleth Troll
