Okay, guys, I suggest the following: The regulars here like me, Jessie, Dragon77 and Northi each make a deck called "Help" or something. And when you need help, you drop a single post with link THERE and nowhere else. Here the link of my HelpThread:http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/puschkin-please-help-me/Please go there if you need help and stop spamming in my decks. And maybe make a similar thread of your own where people can request your help.

You could at least make a suggestion before advertising, dragon 77
I would ditch the Avenger and Boundless Realms (also the Towers) in favour of splashing black for 4 Vulturous Zombie. This change would solve some of the problems this deck has, probably double the win percentage AND make the deck cheaper, budgetwise.
Living Death affects ALL players! While it also swipes the board, which might be handy, it brings my opponent's creatures back, which can be suicide in multiplayer. Especially since most of my creatures don't haste, so my opponent's would be able to use their returned ones first. Cauldron Dance has two big things going for it:1) It works both on a creature in the grave and on one in my hand. Pyromancy is the only card that requires me to have the high CMC guys in my hand. 2) It gives both creatures haste. Also, if I discarded a big creatures via Pyromancy, this means I have already done 8+ damage. Which means, two more creatures via Cauldron Dance will probably be enough to kill someone. Please note that I run only 12 creatures.
Played it this weekend and it rocked :) Especially the Timesifter. But it was just one game where I had it which isn't enough to evaluate. However, deck is still slow in the sense that it doesn't have any early blockers. Which was okay because we were playing 2 vs 2 where my partner is allowed to block for me but the first 4 or so turns are dangerous. Second observation: oftentimes my direct damage spells run into other direct damage spells and support cards. Still doing about 5 damage but could be more. What this really needs is library manipulation, preferably stuff that lets me put cards from my hand back on top of library (Brainstorm, Scroll Rack) but these will drop the average casting cost even more. So, it would probably be best to go haywire with Scrylands. Too bad those Scryduals don't count for domain because the other thing I really want is to include 4 Dracos (while maintaining the possibility to play them regularily).
Well, I knew you could alter opposing lands but it didn't occur that you would be relying on Forestwalk ... which explains Mirri ... and Eladamri ... okay, but if this is your win condition, it means you'd need to:First mulligan until you get a ESG or Chancellor AND a BoP, Llanowar etc. Secondly you need to play more mana critters to go to 3-4 mana. Then you need Monk/Recluse. And THEN you need forstwalkers or Eladamri. That's 5 different elements you need in a specific order while struggling to get the mana rolling and hoping that your opponent doesn't interefere - and with that I don't just mean mass swipers, a single Lightning Bolt can ruin your day when it breaks the chain.Sure, this deck is "special" and I appreciate the effort to build in a subtheme, however, you don't need to make it more complicated than it already is. You will have a hard time winning anyway, right? That's why I think, if you dropped the forestwalk route, you could make this deck a lot more consistent and could therefore snag a win here and there when you are fast enough. That's where the Archdruid is great - we assume that the opponent has no mass removal (because if he has, we'll lose no matter what), it boosts all other elves and provides the mana you need for more creatures all by himself so that you can attack with the rest of your horde.
Would Dryad Arbor be cheating? If not, this would be the first thing to add.Chancellor of the Tangle would be the second one. You will probably never be able to cast him, but you utterly need him to get going.Durkwood Baloth is some considerable power for just one green mana.Vine Dryad can be cast without mana.Mirri, Cat Warrior is good but at three mana ... you are dependant on elves. Elvish Archdruid would be THE card for this slot!!!I would play Noble Hierarch over BoPs. That flying is useless because you can't pump them anyway. Hierarch provides Exalted which helps with whatever you are going to attack.Cards to consider to remove:* Thelonite Monk (huh!?)* Kavu Recluse (again, you don't have lands ...?)* Sylvan Hierophant (not really useful - chances are, if you have creatures in your graveyard, it will be the mana elves you would need in play but don't have any mana anymore to play them. You'd need the Spirit Guides back but they are exiled when used. So this is a wasted draw/drop)
The reanimation I have (just two Cauldron Dance for now) is just a side theme. I also happen to have 4 Pyromancy but only 2 Kaboom!, if it was vice versa, we wouldn't be talking about animation at all since Kaboom! puts the cards on the bottom of the library. I am just working with what I have and the composition might change after the first few games (we'll play over Whitsuntide this weekend). Pyromancy has a big drawback: The discard is at random. But it's the only one of the bunch that an be used repeatedly, so it is about to stay for now.Of course, the Cauldron Dances might turn out to be so powerful that I'd add more and hence make this more animator style. However, once I go that path, it will most likley destroy the original theme of this deck, because I would then add different kinds of creatures that don't need to be hardcast anymore and somehow I don't want that. Been there, done that. This here is fresh for me (and my buddies) which is kindof important after almost 20 years of playing this game ...But let's say I can get my hands on a playset of Dracos, then I could see a different direction of this deck. They cost whopping 16 but each basic land type I have in play reduces that by 2. In that case I could focus on Draco and try to hardcast him, but still keeping the Pyromancies and company. Can't wait playing with this, it has so much potential and room for improvement. Over the years I found myself enjoying optimizing existing decks more than building new ones. Partly because the part where you have to physically assemble the deck has become a pain in the ass but also because it is so much fun to change a few cards and then look what difference it makes in the field. You can learn from this so much ... I can only advice any player to keep around some of your decks for long times and tinkering with it every time you get new cards. Anyway, I start rambling again, must be my age :)
Of course, I am happy for all suggestions, even if I won't use them, because every suggestion, regardless how bad or good it is, forces me to think and revaluate my concept and selections I made so far.
Not only that, Puschkin said "good concept" and *gasp* gave the deck a Like ... must be christmas already.
Apart from hating Emrakul with a passion I left him out precisely because I still want to be able to hardcast the spells. That's actually what this deck is about ... also, I don't want my graveyard to be shuffled into my library because that would ruin the day for Cauldron Dance. I would run Dracos (cost one more than Emrakul and I have actually a chance to play them) if had them but for some reason I didn't find a single one. Hehe, if Unglued was allowed, I could use Gleemax and deal one million damage, teehee :)
Problem with Fiery Temper and Rootwalla is their low casting cost. If I run into them using my tricks, I won't do much damage. I would need a spell with high casting cost and low madnes cost. Dark Withering is the only card that fits that bill - this, however, would be a nice addition :) Past in Flames doesn't work. If it was an enchantment, maybe. But as it is I pay 4 mana to cast it and THEN have to pay the casting cost of the card I want to flashback in addition to it. Since my spells have extraordinary casting costs, this is a no-go ... Erratic Explosion is probably the only card this would work on and even then it's 7 mana.
Good concept! Maybe a bit too low on creatures, though. I would add Cummune with the Gods - it gives you a creature and puts 5 cards total into the graveyard. You could even choose to not take that creature, putting 6 cards into the grave. You could also use Grasslands instead of Sunpetal Grove. Consider the following instead of Giant Growth:Aggressive Urge (adds trample and cantrips - faster threshold)Groundswell (has threshold itself)Predator's Strike (fits better flavour wise)Please check my new creation out, I need help:http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/pyromania/
I posted my suggestions one message above this :) (BTW you still run two sub-par cards)The deck in question I need help with is http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/pyromania/
It's not really a warrior tribal, there are more synergies than that. But the deck I need help with is actually this one:http://www.mtgvault.com/puschkin/decks/pyromania/
Which is sad and stupid. It shouldn't be the goal to make it frontpage in the first place. I really don't understand why people keep on focussing on that - it's on the frontpage because it's on the frontpage, so what? Does nobody search for tags for example? But, as I said to Jessie already, the problem is not the system, the problem is the users. We do have tabs like "unloved" but nobody can be forced to use them. People like to flock to what's popular, blindly, no matter why it's popular, making it more popular by posting to it. BTW, I also need help on my newest creation. I'll make suggestions on yours in return.
Hunt the Hunter is strictly better than Prey Upon.Hunting Wilds is strictly better than Ranger's Path.Coiling Woodworm would be very dangerous in this.I would prefer Hornet Queen over Living Hive.Beacon of Creation would be perfect for this.Replacing 4 Forests with Tranquil Thickets would help preventing mana floods. However, they would work against the Beacon and Woodworm I suggested, so do only either or the other.
Hm, does this actually work? I mean, against efficient decks. What does the Restoration Angel do? You could flicker the Clique with it, okay, but there is only one copy in the deck. And you could flicker the Snapcaster, however, if you do that, you have already spent 4 mana on the Angel and then you need more mana to spend on the flashback. This will rarely work and almost never when you really need it to work! I suggest Blinding Angel instead (you will have problems against weenie decks!).Shouldn't Scavenging Ooze be placed in the sideboard? And ... doesn't have some bad synergy with Tarmogoyf? Speaking of that dude: Is Tarmogoyf really the right choice for this deck? You'll provide lands and instants but what about the rest? Note that your only creature removal exiles and that most of your counterspells return the spell to the owner's hand ... I also don't see what Tamiyo accomplishes in this deck. The tapping is nice but is it worth an investment of 5 mana? 5 mana usually means you have to tap out and the opponent can finally cast his key spells. I'd go with Thassa, God of the Seas instead. You run a lot ofone-ofs and 2-ofs, Thassa helps you getting what you want. The mana base:Marsh Flats!? That should be Windswept Heath, right? Also, have you noticed that your selection of duals provides blue, green and white mana almost equally while your actual selection of spells asks for more blue mana than green and white combined? This means, every dual should provide blue mana and every fetchie should be able to fetch blue mana. Temple Garden has to go in favour of something else.... I somewhat have the feeling that you just put together a lot of cards that are or have been expensive once without really thinking about if they actually work together. Goyf is a nice creature but mostly useful in aggressive decks with lots of spot removal where it is assured that cards of all types enter the graveyards fast. Here it will be a lot slower, additionally you srew up your mana base with splashing green like this, the deck could run a lot smoother if you ditched green altogether. Of course, that would make the deck a lot less expensive ... so, the question would be what's more important to you, to show off or to have a consistent deck that wins.
Need some help - please read description.
A hound deck? Basilisk Collar and/or maybe Sparring Collar should be in this, at least for flavour :)
